BP Fuel

Diesel fuel was advertised on the sign at $3.09. I pulled into the station and saw that the pump had $4.09 for diesel. I went to the cash register and ask what the price was and the clerk told me $3.39 which was the price posted on the sign facing the building. You could not see this price from the road. I told him I expected to pay $3.09 like it was advertised but he would not let me. I have a witness who saw the price and heard me talking to the clerk. His name is [redacted]. It appears this business is using false advertising to get customers into their station and then charging more in this case $1.00 more a gallon that the advertised price,.Desired SettlementI would like a cash settlement of the difference between the diesel I purchased at another station at $3.35 and the price this station advertised but would not honor. I bought 47 gallons of fuel or $2.82 and of course the problem corrected and the owner educated.
