BP Mold Remediations

This project took a lot longer then expected for many reasons, much of which were out of the control of me (Builder). First, The client bought a low lying lot in a neighborhood that has a non functioning drainage plan. After the lot was cleared, we experienced heavy rains and the lot was underwater...

for almost a month. No trucks could get in to fill the lot until the water subsided. Also the conduit that serviced the underground power from FPL was broke under the road and FPL had to horizontal bore to install new lines. That is not a swift process. We did have a long delay in the framing, and I will take full responsibility for that. The framer we hired gave us a crew that was not capable of doing the proper job on this custom build with a piggyback truss system, so I made them get us a better crew and that delayed the project almost a month. This client is a perfectionist and to try to make him happy with a budget thats not perfectionist friendly is a difficult task. We also had Hurricane Matthew and Hurricane Erma during this build, not to mention an enormous labor shortage that followed. This home is a week away from completion and the end product is a home that I am proud of. I prefer not to talk ill of the client in detail because that is not how I run my business nor is that how I run my life.  Also, I have been paying the client 2000.00/ month to cover the cost of their living expenses.
