Response:

What happened was an unfortunate and we would like to respond as follows: 1. The customer needed to have us diagnose his 1994 jeep and saying it makes noise in the early morning. He authorized us to check his car and left his car in our service station. 2. We found four tie rods were bad in addition to his front worn axels. When he came back in the afternoon, we offered him to replace these rods and it is up to his decision to replace the axels. If he would like to have us repair his car, the $60 diagnose fee will be waived or it will be charged. 3. The customer refused our offer and insisted he would not pay the diagnose fee, saying he knew the previous mechanic and did not trust our current mechanic and the diagnose was wrong and he knew the problem before he brought the car into our station, etc. I told him it is our store policy that you authorized us to check the problem and you would pay for the fee. You were welcome to have another mechanic to look into your car for a second opinion, but this was not the reason you refuse to pay for the service. 4. He finally paid the $60 diagnose fee and left. We are trying our best to service our clients and welcome him to contact us directly if he has any questions about our service. Thank you for your attention. Best, [redacted].???? Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID#[redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[Your Answer Here

1 The uncertified mechanic ( helper) said nothing about cv axel in the front, the diagnosis was wrong.

2 No Certified mechanic look at the car or was present at the time.

3 There is nothing wrong with tie rods on the car when a certified mechanic check the car.

4 the biggest issue is that they are making repairs and inspections without a certified mechanic.

Response:

To the customer's questions:1. Our hired mechanical technician is fully qualified to do mechanical check up, trouble shooting and we are fully equipped with the state of art industry standard engine diagnostic scanner which will assist our technician to pin point the common problems. All hired mechanic has a diploma of auto mechanic repair and maintenance. [redacted] does not require a Certified Mechanic to do the trouble shooting and repairs. The technician on duty has years of experience and we never had a complaint about his performance from our clients.2. The customer claimed our diagnosis was wrong, but if he knew what was wrong, why he brought his car to us for a check? He refused to pay on the spot claiming our diagnosis was wrong, now he said he brought to another mechanic and telling you our diagnosis was wrong. Can he show us the other mechanic's diagnosis on that date? The bottom line is the customer needs a free diagnosis.3. We made our suggestion of repair based on our test and conclusion, it is totally up to the customer to accept or not. On the spot, how did he know we tried to sell him a job that does not fix the issue?4. Tire rods were bad so was the front axles. The customer told our mechanic on duty that it was too expensive and he did not want us to make the repair, nor did he want to pay for the diagnosis.Best[redacted]

1 Same problem they are NOT TELLING THE TRUTH. they said nothing about the axels.2 I have many years of car repair. I am a little older and can not service my own cars.3 you do not use a diagnosis machine to see a problem under the car.4 He did not even take the car for a ride to hear the problem.5 no technician is allowed to diagnose or repair with out a certified mechanic present.6 And yes diagnosis was wrong and I want reinbursment.7 The other mechanic I took the car to resolve the problem with the axels and no tie rod issues.8 So who is lying.
