Towed my truck wrong and by doing so it caused $6,695.50 of damages. It should've been tow with a flatbed truck. I'm seeking the total damages due to the driver negligence.
Good afternoon,
This is Kendra the secretary at BP's Towing,
The conversation I had with the customer went as the following; He asked me if I could tow his dodge pick up truck. I asked, "Is it a 4WD?" He said "Yes but I have pulled my drive-line". I said "If you pulled your drive-line then I can send a rollback or a conventional wrecker" Customer said, "Which could be here quicker?" I advised, "Our rollback is on another call but my wrecker is free." Customer stated, "Send the wrecker I need my truck out of here." I said "Okay I'm getting a truck dispatched to you as soon as we hang up." Customer said "Thank you." Then we hung up. I called my driver gave him the information on where to get the truck. When my driver arrived to pick the vehicle up, he also asked the customer "Did you pull the driveline?" Customer said "Yes I pulled the driveline." My driver called my boss which is the owner as well as myself back to advised of the situation and to ok the tow.
