Please let this letter serve as our response to the above complaint
Alpine Paving gave a proposal
to overlay the existing drive I carport area (square feet) with a inch average hot asphalt concrete and to widen the existing edge of the drive 1/feet to existing wall with inches of hot asphalt concrete (square feet).See attached diagram. In order to cover the footings from the wall and tie in'' dead mans" anchors for the existing awning as well as to facilitate drainage to the street, a swale was made at the transition of overlay to new inch asphalt concrete
After the work was completed the owner contacted us to express his concerns about roughness of the surfaceWe agreed to allow months to let the asphalt concrete cure, then we returned to slurry seal the drive at no additional charge
After a rain storm the owner called with puddlingWe returned and using a straight edge and level, ran it the entire length of the swale removing or adding asphalt concrete to eliminate any humps or fill voidsPrior to overlay the water ran into dirt area between existing edge and wall. Looking from street you can see the swale to carry the water out about l 1/feet from the wall where the asphalt concrete rises to cover the footingWhen I last talked to the owner in May of this year he stated that he was "going to let it go"Thus we were some what surprised to receive this complaint
In response to the last two sentences of his complaint see attached correspondence from the trailer park where he livesregarding work we preformed there
Although we fee] we have met our obligations to the contract and beyond we did try to address his complaints and understood him to say he was letting it go

The reason I said at the time to let it go was because he ([redacted]) had been here several times to look at the driveway and twice had his men do some patch work.I took pictures of the last rain we had in fact several times and [redacted] seen the pictures anmd the pictures are still on my computer tobe seen by any one.I sent [redacted] a letter last week to the effect if he did not fix the driveway I was filing a small claimes report.[redacted] knowes that he was hired to do nsome work in the park on drives ways I had spoke to him and za man [redacted] that was supervising the park job abput my drive way.Nothing was ever done because [redacted] was handling the contract with ALPINE PAVING about park drives way and I ask [redacted]  about if [redacted] was going to do anything more to park driveways and I QUOTE  the manager of the park was dissatisfied with ALPINE PAVING WORK.As I heard that is when I was  told are suggested to me to file a   Revdex.com report.I though as the man I know as [redacted] would take action and fix it.If he ([redacted]) knows my driveway is are has very rough spots in it and water stands ever where all along the side [redacted] the right no driveway should do this.I spoke with myb attorney about this and he is waiting to see what reply I get.,I WILL GO TO COURT IF I HAVE TO AND IF NECESSARY I WILL PUT AN ADD IN OUR LOCAL PAPER THE ALPINE SUN ABOUT THIS. THE MAN GOT $16.000 CASH OUT OF ME FOR THIS I WANT THE JOB DONE RIGHT ARE GO TO COURT.I WAS JUST TIRED OF OVER AND OVER CUMMING TO MY HOME TO LOOK AND SATY IT IS LECEL WHEN YOU GOT VERY ROUGH SPOTS ALONG THE RIGH SIDE WHERE THEY DID PATCH WORK.THIS IS A SENIOR PARK AND IAM A RETIRED VETERAN SERVED 22 YEARS AND 100% DISABLE WITH THE VA AND IAM NOT GOING TO BE TREATED THIS WAY BY A CONSUMER.IF THE MAN [redacted] HAS ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT WHAT WAS TOLD [redacted] ME ABOUT THE WORK IN THE PARK SEE [redacted] HE KNOWS HIM.>
