[What is truly dishonest is that Mr B*** charged us $for a job that he now admits he knew was not going to last An honest professional would refuse to do a job that he knows will not work His company is called Bracken "WATERPROOFING" and he promised to SEAL the blocks, not just paint themit also says SEAL on the work order He now claims he told us that the stains would come through If this was true, why would we pay him $3300? Now he admits that he applied regular white paint, and not sealant No wonder the stains came through after a monthFor that, we could have done the job ourselves and saved ourselves a lot of moneyYou don't need to hire a "Waterproofing" company for a regular paint jobWe thought we were hiring a waterproofing professional

His crew completed the job on May 13, 2017 and we paid them in full. A month later, we noticed the stains seeping through once again and the product they had applied was now peeling off. We tried to call him and email him but he ignored us. We then filed a complaint with the Revdex.com and only then did he call us back. Bracken Waterproofing [redacted]In response to complaint issued by [redacted]. After receiving a inspection request from MR. [redacted] from home advisor 1 inspected the home I believe sometime in april during the inspection...

I noticed staining on walls in certain areas and also efflorescence. I am a basement waterproofing company that does primarily internal French drains and have almost 15 years experience and explained to Mr. [redacted] at that time that over time the ADS pipe (footer drain) can clog or at least partially from the dirt from above and that also the tar (purging) will break down from the acids in the ground and the water that is not draining properly from the footer drain will create a false water table on outside of wall and be absorbed into the cells of the wall where the purging has broke down and the staining and efflorescence on walls was in most cases do to the water filling up in the cells of block and ( explained to MR [redacted] that a internal French drain was needed to prevent this Mr [redacted] argued that he didn’t need that that he never had water on the floor I explained it needs to build up and wont leak until saturated he still argued and said he was not spending that kind of money when he never had water on floor and wanted painted I explained that there is NO paint that will stop water and would only temporarily seem to solve problem because the water is still building up in the cells and the paint just lays on surface and temporarily hides and that a concrete sealer would be better than paint and at least last longer and MRS. [redacted] said no because it was clear in color and MRS [redacted] wanted walls white so painted walls with white liquid rubber that is the best you can get however once again paint materials can not stop water permanently and NEVER IMPLIED THAT IT WOULD NOR DID I GIVE ANY WARRENTY also in response to not getting back to MR [redacted] did leave message on second voicemail received from MR [redacted] and also sent email response on July 10 2017 and still have the email response that can send as evidence if needed this situation is unfortunate however I cant refund a customer money back for work done at THERE REQUEST after explaining to them it was a temporary band-aid and not recommended I have been in contact with MR [redacted] and offered to come to his home on JULY 25th 2017 Mr [redacted] said no that that didn’t work for him
