October of 2015, contracted with Bob of Brackett Contracting to replace our roof. Because we were leaving soon for a several month trip, we needed to have the work performed quickly. Bob not only replaced our roof quickly, he performed a high quality job. All work was performed as specified, including clean-up. His crew was always excellent and professional at all times. His good old-fashioned work ethic made this job go smoothly, with great results. Highly recommend Brackett Contracting, and will use him again.

Bob was pleasant to work with, accommodating of our needs, and they started and completed the work even earlier than promised. Brackett Contracting conducted the work in my house and the stair not yet passed inspection and as is the stair are detaching and rotting and it has not been a year. The bathroom has no security where to grab at because they removed it and have not put it back.The floor already is peeling the (storm) front door.Desired SettlementI need the money back or for them to repair work up to city code I'm tired of calling and writing them.Business' Initial Response YOUR REPLY TO THE COMPLAINT: Went to consumer's home and stairs are detached done by consumer pulling on stairs ½ inch on one side. Worcester Community Council accompanied Me. I agreed to fix the stairs in good faith although there was no original workmanship issue. I have done more than what was contracted from me in the original contract such as (painting the rooms). The front floor door is scraped due to normal wear and tear. (Wood furniture is moved along the floor scraping it). Consumer is requesting I fix the front door handle, but she lost the screw. I will send in the permit that shows my workmanship passed inspection last year when the work was originally done.
