Review: I went to the doctor over a year ago for a cleaning and was told that I had several fillings that needed to be replaced. Because I have two dental insurances, I was told prior to any work being complete that it will all be covered under my insurance, with the exception of the $50 annual deductible, which I paid. A few months after the work being complete, I received a letter from my insurance company saying they over paid (about $79) and that I was responsible for it. I contacted the office and they then paid the insurance company the $79. I then received a bill from the doctor for $125. I contacted the doctors office again and was told there was an error with the insurance company and they would resubmit it. I didn't hear from them for another 6 months then received another bill. I again called the doctors office and was told there was another error and I do not have to pay the $125 because it wasn't submitted to my second insurance company and they will again resubmit it. Now another 6 months later I get a bull for $125 and am told I will be sent to collections if this isn't paid. I called and spoke to [redacted] and was told that there was a mistake and I am responsible for the $125. I was also told that there was no error, the person who told me that there was is no longer with the company because she had made other errors and they will give me another month to pay. If I was told up front that there would be a bill, especially with my two insurances, I would have stayed with my other dentist. The only reason I left was because I moved and it was a distance. The doctor's office excuse of firing someone people she made mistakes and after over a year of trying to resolve this, each time being told that there is no bill, there's an error on the insurance company and processing the payment, isn't my fault and now I'm being threatened to be sent to collections and it effecting my credit if I don't pay, is an unfair business practice.Desired Settlement: I paid the $125 to avoid the account being sent to collections and I would like a full refund for all the inaccurate information I was told for over a year. I was forced to pay and was told there will be NO fee before I got any work done.
