Matt Montangue from [redacted] van Weelden Co. acted as our general contractor on a major rehabilitation of our twelve year old home. The original builder had neglected to construct the home with TIVEK, a critical insulating material. The result was that water had seeped in behind ALL the Hardyboard and windows in the home. Also, the raised wooden deck was rotting and needed to be replaced with concrete. Last, we needed to to repair major portions of our driveway and have some landscaping improved.
Our experience with this complex project using [redacted] van Weelden as the general contractor was exceptional..They kept us fully apprised of the status of the project, ensured that the sub-contractors stayed on the project's critical path and within the overall budget. Best of allNO SURPRISES! They have come back several times since to make sure that the quality of the work has withstood the last difficult winters in the Midwest. The office manager, Jessie, is great with communication and the project managers are great about returning calls or responding right away. I have found them to be particularly reliable with honesty in up-front pricing, good product recommendations, and doing excellent, quality work. On the several projects they have done for me, I have never been disappointed.
