I purchased a Love Seat from Brad's and was told it would take 6-weeks to receive To keep this somewhat short...the item was finally delivered weeks from purchase with no offer of apology or communication I was the one that had to continually contact them to find out when it would arrive Then since they are the only Lane in town, we decided to give them another chance because I liked the sales person and ordered the couch to match Asked it I would have the same problem...was told no...I expressed that if there was, I would appreciate at least communication so that I didn't feel like they didn't care and so I would know what to expect Well again...the couch was ordered and was told that latest would be around April Did they call and let me know from time to time what was going on and it would take longer? Absolutely not! Here it is June 25th and still no couch when I was told at the end of May that it would ship June I expressed that I would like to cancel my order and move on from this experience I was told that it would be made and shipped and be here in approximately weeks But if I cancel the order, I would be charged almost $for a restock fee! I expressed that this didn't seem fair That I had been more than patient and understanding and this is how they are going to treat a customer! I know for a fact that to keep a customer they can either offer money back, or put the couch in stock and reduce the price if they have to, to sell but they are not opting to do that To top it off, the original love seat has electrical issues that they still have failed to fix in a timely manner
Customer Service is extremely poor You are put on hold for more time than it should take to get someone to talk to you, and then you are made to feel like it is you that has the problem and they don't owe any explanation other than we will call you when it is here
I am honestly a very patient person, and understand that things happen with companies that can be out of their control This goes beyond that
So I am left with again waiting AND doing my own follow up in two weeks when they tell me again that it is not shipped Meanwhile they have had my money in full since the time of purchase There has to be something wrong about this I have no recourse except to lose my money
