The issue is when we initially brought our vehicle to be repaired it was for a radiator and beltsWe went to pick up the vehicle and we were advised by [redacted] that he was not going to replace the radiator because we bought a used one that was bent at the brackets he said, he advised us to get a new one and also advised us to get a water pumpWe then bought a new radiator and pump and my husband scheduled a new appointment for thoseWe left our vehicle there overnight when we picked it up the mechanic had it out for a test drive, upon return they said everything was goodWe get in my truck and there sits the new water pump my husband goes back in and asked [redacted] why he didn't replace the pump and he stated he didn't have timeWe left and made it no farther then the highway the truck was smoking under hood, leaking anti freeze and wouldn't drive over mph and it was squealing so loud you could hear it miles awayWe coasted to the [redacted] and my husband called [redacted] he told us to bring it back downWe returned and he lifted the hood and there was so much smoke, we then noticed it was smoking from the radiator because it blew a clamp off that they had reused from the old radiatorAlso there was a hole in the egr valve and we asked how that happened he had no idea as to how it happened, so [redacted] told us if we go buy a new egr valve he would replace it free of charge and they were going to put new clamps on the radiator, he also stated that the reason it was slipping was probably because of the egr valve and once replaced it would be fineLater that afternoon my mother and I went to pick up my truck and [redacted] told both my mom and I that it was all taken care of that he drove it and it sounded better and ran greatI couldn't even make it out of his parking lot without it slipping and squealingI took it to my moms and contacted a new mechanic the very next day

Again, I will state my case, tad it is as simple as can beI installed, theparts as I was toldThe ruunng problem had already existed. Before it was brought to me, It quit running and had to be towed.I installed the parts she brought. If you order two by fours at the lumber yard, then get home and realizethat you need four by fours, you don’t get mad at the lumber yard

It ended up with more problems then what was original due to his care and like stated before he told me I needed a water pump so I bought a new pump with the new radiator told him we had both yet he never replaced the pump due to "not having time" although he had it overnight. I will never agree with the response my husband mother and I all know that it isn't true they witnessed the situation I also had two second opinions after dealing with this garage and then took it to a third one who ended up doing the work

We then bought a new radiator and pump and my husband scheduled a new appointment for those. We left our vehicle there overnight when we picked it up the mechanic had it out for a test drive, upon return they said everything was good. We get in my truck and there sits the new water pump my husband goes back in and asked [redacted] why he didn't replace the pump and he stated he didn't have time. We left and made it no farther then the highway the truck was smoking under hood, leaking anti freeze and wouldn't drive over 15 mph and it was squealing so loud you could hear it miles away. We coasted to the [redacted] and my husband called [redacted] he told us to bring it back down. We returned and he lifted the hood and there was so much smoke, we then noticed it was smoking from the radiator because it blew a clamp off that they had reused from the old radiator. Also there was a hole in the egr valve and we asked how that happened he had no idea as to how it happened, so [redacted] told us if we go buy a new egr valve he would replace it free of charge and they were going to put new clamps on the radiator, he also stated that the reason it was slipping was probably because of the egr valve and once replaced it would be fine. Later that afternoon my mother and I went to pick up my truck and [redacted] told both my mom and I that it was all taken care of that he drove it and it sounded better and ran great. I couldn't even make it out of his parking lot without it slipping and squealing. I took it to my moms and contacted a new mechanic the very next day.

Review: April 1, 2015 my radiator blew in my Ford Escape. I had it towed to my house and we took it to [redacted] for repair. We replaced the battery on our own because it was bad. We bought a used radiator at a salvage yard and delivered it to Bradford auto. We went to pick our truck up and [redacted] stated he changed the S belt and the Water belt but refused to use the radiator we had because it was bent at the brackets, he also advised us we get a new water pump because he said ours was leaking bad. We called the salvage yard and told them the radiator we bought from them was no good they refunded us and sold us a brand new radiator, we then went and bought a new water pump and scheduled our truck to be fixed at Bradford auto a day later. He had it from Thursday to Friday and when we picked it up the mechanic had it out test driving it when he returned we noticed he never changed the water pump so my husband asked him why he didn't replace the water pump while changing the radiator and he said "he didnt have time" so we pay him and we leave. We didn't even get 5 miles and truck wouldn't drive over 15 mph and it was still smoking and making a very loud squealing noise so we called [redacted] he said bring it back well the radiator blew the clamps off because they had reused the old ones also the egr valve now had a hole in it so we had to buy a new one and [redacted] changed it at no cost to us and when I picked the truck up he told me he had it out driving and it ran great and was all fixed I couldn't even get it out of the parking lot it was stalling out and the engine was skipping. I took it to another mechanic and he told me the engine was blown now and most likely the reasoninnwas because of failure to put the new water pump in so all the water and antifreeze were leaking out and not pumping into the engine. To this day 3 weeks later I still have no vehicle I spent close to $700 in parts and labor and $150 for towing and now have to come up with $1100 more to replace the engine my truckDesired Settlement: I would like refunded for the labor I paid [redacted] because my vehicle is not fixed and has more problems now then it did before I took it to [redacted] at Bradford auto. I would also like the cost for the engine and repair for that seeing as it is his fault I am no having to replace it.
