I reviewed our file for the customer and could not find a letter about the leak issue that we require to process a warranty claim as specified in our workmanship warranty Our warranty is for us to fix any workmanship defects with the installation of our roof systems not to pay other companies to fix suspected issues therefore we cannot pay the fee that the other company charged.I recommend that if there is another issue in the future to please follow the terms (notify us within hours of noticing the leak in writing) of the warranty to ensure that a claim is properly initiated [redacted] ***President

Company's response below:Hi ***! ? I'm so sorry for the delayed response? Mr [redacted] is taken care of? He was confused? We installed the correct color of shingle that he chose? The [redacted] has been out to his house with the [redacted] (shingle manufacturer) rep proving without a doubt that it is the color he chose? Extremely nice [redacted] man that was just a little confused.Sincerely, [redacted]

after pictures of the deficiencies in the roof system that you mentioned in the complaint along with a copy of any warranty you have from our company. *** ***

We are still in the process of trying to resolve this issue We permit ALL jobs that we contract therefore quite odd that this one shows no permit on record We are in contact with the *** officials to correct this

I am rejecting this response because: the business is delaying
for the purpose of not having this complaint remain on fileI have contacted this business on numerous occasions and they continuously tell me that they are researching this matterThey have had in excess of six weeks to research it and Mr*** has come out to my house to speak with me personally and he advised me that he was going to make the correction and resolve this problem to my satisfactionThis meeting was after telephonic and electronic communications where in he espoused the same declaration Mr*** has no intention of resolving this matter even though I have offered him every opportunity to do soI do not want this complaint closed until you have written confirmation from me with respect to a proper, honest and ethical resolutionIf you need any further information concerning this matter please be kind enough to email me or call me at *** ***Thank you and please do not terminate this complaint with the Revdex.com until this matter is resolved and you hear from me with respect theretoagain, I remain sincerely yours *** ***

am rejecting this response because: I have received the response and am attaching before and after pictures from the beginning of the roof starting to leak to the present time after the repairYou (*** ***) were here to see the damage to the ceiling when it started and tried to fix it by caulking the end of the ventYou were also here again to see the continuing damage when the roof leaked again making the water stains biggerAnd again trying to identify and fix the problem without successThe other information, the phone records and proof of warranty will be provided if you refuse to settle this complaint through this Revdex.com mediation and I am forced to file a lawsuit in Small Claims CourtI have recently found out that the damage from the water stains that were growing mold has permanently damaged the pattern on the plastered ceiling clearly indicating the roof leak (see pictures)To make it look right again, I will have to completely recover the ceiling and the cost would be $Due to this information, I am adjusting the amount I will be seeking if this complaint is not settled during this Revdex.com mediation and I am forced to file a lawsuit from $to $It is not my wish to take this to the next level and I'm sure you have better things to do as wellYou know you should have taken care of this in the beginning and I am hoping you will show the integrity of a professional and do the right thing by settling with meThank you, *** ***
