I originally scheduled services to remove birds from a bathroom vent and to treat inside and outside of house to prevent bugs, mainly ants, tics, and mosquitoes. Dana, the owner, never provided any services and cashed a $250 check that he told me that he did not cash. He told me two different stories. One story was that that he ripped up the check and the other was that he wrote void on it and his bank wouldn't cash it. I had to send him copies of the cashed checks from my bank to prove to him that he signed and cashed the check. He told me he'd mail a refund to me and after 2 verbal and several written requests, I still haven't received the refund and now have the fun of wasting time and more money to file a small claims case. There also appears to be different versions of the company name, and when I met him he told me they are in the process of changing it again.

We located termites in our basement door and received several quotes from large and small pest companies. Bradford and Son’s was responsive, gave us a reasonable price quote and warranty for full foundation treatment, and always arrived on time. As the lady of the house, I was very comfortable working with Ray.

Review: On July 6, 2015 an employee of Bradford and Son's Pest Service came to my residence in error (wrong street and wrong house)removed a basement window that he said was a crawl space. I called the police, case #2015-11574. The police gave me Mr. [redacted] contact information. I called him on July 8,2015, he requested I submit to him an estimate and he would send me a check to cover window replacement. I called him with an estimate he said was too much money, get two more estimates that he was going to take the cost from the employees pay. I faxed a copy of the lowest of four estimates to Mr. [redacted] fax number he gave me along with a copy of the contract on August 8, 2015. In total I have placed at least seven calls to Mr. [redacted] in regards to the window replacement and he assured me on August 10, August 22, and August 31,2015 that the check was mailed. The cost of replacing the window is $825.66 which includes materials and labor. A copy of the contract was faxed from the [redacted] Office here in the City of Fairfax and I called to verify he received the faxed information.Desired Settlement: I want Mr. [redacted] to send a check to me to cover the cost of the window replacement as he promised. It is his responsibility it was his employee who came onto my property in error.

Review: On Feb. 23 2016 at Mr B[redacted]'s request, I paid in full $280 for four months of mosquito service for the months of June, July, August, September. In June, when I hadn't seen Mr. B[redacted] at the house to perform the service, I called his 1-800 -987-6608 number several times - it was dead. I assumed Mr. B[redacted] was no longer in business and I hired another firm to do the work.

At the end of June, Mr. B[redacted] appeared at my house to perform the work, a full month after he was scheduled to begin providing the service. I told him that he was a month late, and that I had tried, without success, to call him and demanded a full refund of the $280. Subsequently I sent him a registered letter via USPS. I never received the return receipt.Desired Settlement: I insist on a full refund of the $280 I paid Mr. B[redacted] on February 23, 2016. I paid him in February, never heard another word from him until the end of June when he showed up a month late to deliver the service I had paid for. I tried to contact him but his 800 number was dead.
