I parked my new car *** *** at *** Valet Parking at the airport from 1/11- 1/ Claim # ***I had them wash my car while it was there for $When I picked it up, I noticed a dent on the passenger side of my carMy car is only months old! there were no dents, scratches etcon my car when I left it with themI immediately when into the officeThey gave me a form to fill out and gave me two business cards to contact if I had not heard anything backI called and left a message for Amber L***, The corporate Secretary and Office Manager at ###-###-#### AND Christine R**, General Manager at ###-###-#### to call me on 1/19/as I had not heard from anyone.I received an email today from Amber L*** which stated that she contacted the guy who washed my car and he told her the dent was there and therefore, they would not be covering the repair as it was pre-existing There absolutely, positively was NO DENT! I am so very disappointed What recours

To Revdex.com, We understand that Mrs*** believes that it is a fresh damage, but unfortunately it was already there when it was dropped off at our facility. I am really sorry for this entire situation because I know that she feels otherwise. When we damage a car we call the customer while they are away and work on coming to a resolution to have it fixed before the customer returns so they are not inconvenienced. But in this situation, it is not the case. We can only fix damages we have actually caused and this was pre-existing. My sincerest apologies

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: As per conversation on august 11th, I spoke with Amber L***, she stated that there were no car accident reported and therefore she would not able to cover the damagesIn clarification, my truck was not involved in a car "car accident", but was damaged possibly by a car door or something on their propertyOn the evening of July 20th, I hand washed and hand dried my entire truck and that dent on the rear door was not thereWhen we arrived on the morning of July 21st, we opened the rear doors to take out our luggageThat dent would have been seen, if it was already there. My truck was then parked by their attendantI followed all the proper procedures as requested by Executive Valet ParkingAfter speaking with Christine R** on July 27th, She said she would investigate with the employees and get back to me on wednesday the 29thI didn't hear from her , so I returned calls to her on July 30th, and July 31st, left messages both times and received no return calls. The next contact was email requesting two estimate and photos. When picking up estimate from *** ***, The estimator, *** *** informed me that they do repairs all the time for Executive Valet Parking, there should be no problem, and to have them call him and he would fax them the estimate and pictures
Sincerely,
*** ***

Car damage that occurred while vehicle was parked at their facility Picked up car at night and didn't see it Drove home (miles) and when we stepped out to the garage the next morning the damage was plain to see Called Executive Valet immediately but since it was a Sunday morning there was no manager on duty They took the information and said a manager would cal Never got a call but I reached a manager on Wednesday Sent an email with photographs and they said they would investigate Heard back from them on 12/saying they would not cover the damages Escalated the complaint but received the same response

To Revdex.com, Unfortunately, we see it happen a lot when cars come in with salt and dirt on them, we end up cleaning them off and we find tiny issues like this. As I described to *** that I spoke to to the Detail Manager George who cleaned their vehicle, and he remembers washing it off
and seeing thisWe understand that *** does not believe it is pre-existing but it was. We are very sorry for the situation

Mr. [redacted] did not report any damages when he picked up his vehicle from our facility.  He called us later at night to report a damage.  Mr. [redacted] said that when his passenger opened the passenger side door at home, that there was a minor abrasion, and when the door opened it caused...

more damage.  So if this is the case, they would've noticed any issue when they opened the door and got into the passenger side door while still on our lot.  We do not use the passenger side doors on vehicles here, only the driver's door.  Unfortunately, the damage did not occur while in our care on our lot.  We are sorry that Mr. [redacted] feels otherwise, but we cannot cover a damage claim for something that did not occur on our lot.

Unfortunately, [redacted] reported the damage after he already left the lot and it was no longer in our care.  Any claim needs to be made before the car leaves our care.  I had been in correspondence with Andrew in regards to this matter already, and I understand he isn't happy with the...

outcome.  I am very sorry that this is not the outcome he is looking for.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] Valet is lying! There was no dent, scratch or anything on my care!  They did this to my car while it was there. This is not acceptable!
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The issue was never questioning the use of the passenger side door from the [redacted] employees and that statement further proves my point further.Upon careful inspection from the collision manager at [redacted] in [redacted] he noted strong evidence that the damage wasn't fully observed until the door was first opened after the collision while in the care of [redacted].  He ran a simulation of how a minor abrasion in that area of the front panel immediately next to the door could not be visually noticed in the daylight (let alone 10:45pm when the vehicle was picked up) at first since there is minimal clearance between the two panels to begin with.  Given this information on the process of realizing the full damage, as well as [redacted] saying they don't use the passenger side doors further proves this simulation true.Attached are three pictures taken at home upon the realization of the damage.  As you can note, the white horizontal scuffs would be concurrent with a white vehicle bumping into mine at that location while my vehicle is stationary.  That type of scuff wouldn't be possible if my vehicle were in motion, given the lack of continued damage to the actual door.  The crease is then fully justified by the opening of the door causing the two panels to lock and cause the crease shown in all 3 images attached.  As no collision can cause that sharp of a dent, only the opening of the passenger door can be the cause for this damage (when the damage is finally realized to it's maximum effect).
Sincerely,
[redacted]

To Revdex.com,I have spoken to Mr. [redacted] and he is a very nice guy, but unfortunately we cannot cover this claim.  His truck wasn't involved in any accidents while on our lot or in our care.  If we have an accident on our lot, we call our customers to let them know.  We do this so...

we can start to take steps to have it repaired before they return if they would like.  Unfortunately, this wasn't the case with Mr. [redacted]'s truck.  I am really sorry that he is unsatisfied with our answer.

Review: On the morning of July 21, 2015 my truck was valet parked at the Executive Valet Airport Parking lot on [redacted], CT. I returned on July 26, 2015 in the afternoon. When the returning shuttle pulled into the lot to drop off patrons to pick up their cars, the vehicles were in front ready for pick up. As soon as the shuttle pulled in, I immediately noticed a dent in my 2014 Chevrolet Silverado on the passengers side rear door. I immediately went in and filed an incident report. While my wife was outside with the luggage, an African American employee came out and asked to see the damage. My wife showed him, and his response was, "that's it", and walked away. I filed the appropriate paperwork, and was contacted through email by Christine R**, General Manager of Executive Valet. She requested two estimates along with photos stating it was necessary to "get the ball rolling".. I submitted both estimates, one for $1272.37, and the second one for $986.58, along with four photos on August 6, 2015. On August 11, 2015, another email was sent by Amber L[redacted], Manager, stating that unfortunately they could not cover the repairs. I spoke with Amber on the phone that afternoon and she stated that the damage was not reported by any employee of Executive Valet Parking, therefore they had no record of the incident and it would not be covered. The damage occurred on their lot, but because their employees didn't report it, they don't feel they should be responsible. I don't feel I should have to pay that amount of money for damage that happened while my vehicle was in their care. If the dent is not repaired, I was told it would rust because the paint was removed all the way down to the base coat.Desired Settlement: I would like Executive Valet Parking to cover the cost of the estimate to have my truck repaired to prevent further damage to my truck.

To Revdex.com,

Review: I parked my car (a 2004 [redacted]) to [redacted] while I was away for business from 2/8/15 to 2/19/15. I asked for them to complete an oil change on my car while I was away if they could do so. I specified that my oil drain plug had been stripped and that the pan had a second plug in it, so they should contact me if the mechanics had any questions or could not do the oil change since it had the second plug in it. When I picked up my car on 2/19/15, I noticed that the receipt for my service stated that my oil change was completed and my window wiper fluid was also refilled. This was alarming to me because my car has no container for window washer fluid. I called [redacted] and told the customer service rep that answered the phone that my oil light and check engine light were both on and that this was concerning because I had just gotten an oil change and neither were on when I dropped the car off. She told me that they may have forgotten to reset the light after completing the service and that they outsource the work, so the mechanics were not available to look at my car. I topped the oil off and the oil light turned off, but on 3/5/15, the light came back on and the the car completely stopped when I pulled into the parking lot driving to work. The car was had completely run out of oil and there was a puddle of oil under the car.A friend got under the car, tightened the loose plus and refilled the oil. However, within a few days, the car ran out of oil again and my car stopped on the highway. I added oil to the car, but it wouldn't start and I had the car towed home.

I called [redacted] and spoke to the manager [redacted], regarding the poor documentation on the receipt, the improper oil change, and the leak on serveral occasions but was told that the service was outsourced and that the owner of [redacted] (who does this work should contact me). When they did call me, the owner, [redacted] sent a mechanic who took pictures of my car but did not follow up at first. I called [redacted] and left a message on [redacted] answering machine twice after my car stopped working and got no response. [redacted] from [redacted] eventually had my car towed to his shop and we agreed that he would perform repairs to get my car started again and that I would pay for parts only (no labor) at a quoted price for about $500. He did the work, but gave me a receipt for $770 which listed parts that were not essential to starting the car (such as the oil drain pan, basket and gas). He also stated that his mechanics had bent my oil dipstick in my engine. A few hours after I drove off with my car after giving [redacted] a check for his work $770 for his work, my check engine light was on again. I called [redacted] and let him know. He told me that his job was not to turn a check engine light off, but that his team would look at the car when I returned. I put a stop payment on the check that I gave him and told him that I would pay him when I got my new dipstick to replace what they damaged during the week that they had my car.

I then took my car to an [redacted] to diagnose the cause of the service engine light and test the rest of the car. When I popped the hood to test the battery, associate [redacted] and I saw that there were parts of my car unplugged. I called [redacted] to ask him about this, but he accused me of lying. I took the car to a [redacted] Dealer to have a better diagnostic of the car. I asked them to inspect the car for the parts that [redacted] listed on the receipt to see whether or not they had been replaced. The mechanics at the dealership returned a diagnostic stating that the body harness of the car had been damaged and that the starter as well as a light connector had been left unplugged.Desired Settlement: I am looking for compensation from [redacted] for the damages caused to my car due to the improper oil change and careless repairs. I do not agree to paying $700 in parts to [redacted] because the Service Engine light came back on hours after they completed the work and a second group of mechanics was not able to identify any of the parts that [redacted] claimed to have replaced within 2 days of the work being done by [redacted]. I also did not consent to some of the parts that [redacted] claims to having replaced being replaced. I am looking for [redacted] to be held accountable for 1) ignoring my complaints regarding the check oil light turning on and the improper documentation on my receipt regarding the window wiper fluid replacement when I first called 2) outsourcing the oil change without my knowledge of it and refusing to take part in helping me have the problem resolved when I called to complain after my car shut off. I did not have these issues before and will now either need to have the engine harness replaced or will need to replace my car. I expect that [redacted] will either cover the cost to either return my car to the condition it was in upon arrival (no service engine/oil lights on) or contribute towards the cost of the car I will need to get to replace this now damaged car.

Response:

[redacted] dropped her car off to us, ordered an oil change to be completed by an outside vendor [redacted] completed the oil change. They mistakely wrote on the paperwork that they topped off the windshield wiper fluid. They were able to fully complete the oil change, without issue. [redacted] called me to complain about these issues and personally told me that her car had pre-exsisting issues with it because it was involved in a car accident prior to parking at [redacted] Parking. She said she brought it to 3 different places and they refused to change the oil because of the condition of the car. [redacted] from [redacted] has gone above and beyond to try and help her with her pre-exsisting issues with her car. Unfortunately, we cannot cover pre-exsisting issues with vehicles that were in car accidents before they were parked here.

Response:

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:1) I did not know that an outside vendor would complete the oil change until I contacted [redacted] to question the work that was done when I noticed that they checked off on filling my window wiper fluid although they physically could not have done so since I had no container for fluid on my car (due to the physical damage caused by the car accident). [redacted] simply directed me to disregard the paperwork and dismissed it as a clerical issue. I was alarmed by this because the receipt was the only gaurantee to me of the work that they did and it was clearly inaccurate.2) I did state that I was unable to get an oil change elsewhere when I dropped it off. The reason was that a second plug (I believe it's called a "piggyback plug") had been previously insstalled to the pan and other vendors did not want to do work on it. I shared that information with the [redacted] when I dropped off my car and stated that I understood if they could not complete the oil change. I specifically instructed them to call me if any problems arouse. They did not call me. Instead, they allowed the outside vendor, [redacted] to complete the oil change incorrectly. I did not have any problems with leakage prior to dropping off my car, but within a week of the oil change my oil light was on, so I called [redacted] and complained. 3) My complaints to [redacted] and [redacted] have been solely in regards to the effects that the improper oil change caused my car. [redacted], from [redacted] did indeed agree to start my car again in effort to make up for the damage that they caused. I appreciate his efforts, however he and his team have shown consistent lack of attention to detail when working with my car and that has placed a financial burden on me. After the improper oil change, [redacted] agreed to have his team start my car. He sent a mechanic to look at the car and stated that he would be able to prove that they did not damage the car by simply swapping the starter and starting it. Then, he said that he would not be able to do so. Eventually we agreed that he would get my car to start and that I would pay for the parts required to have it start. I went to pick up my car when he stated that it was ready only to find out that it was not because a sensor blew when they took it for a test drive AFTER telling me to pick it up. However, the mechanic thta had been working on my car stated to me directly that there were a few parts that still needed to be done. Finally on the day that I did pick up my car, there was a list of parts on the receipt that included unauthorized work (oil pan, oil basket, GAS). Hours after I picked up the car my check engine light was on. When I got the car diagnosed the next day, the associate from [redacted] and I saw that there were parts unplugged under the hood. Finally, when I got the car diagnosed and inspected by a [redacted] dealership, they also noted that the starter and a light had been left unplugged by [redacted]'s team and that the engine harness was damaged. 4) I am not askign for coverage for ANY pre-existing issues with my car from the car accident. My car was in a car accident in November. The accident was minor and only caused damage to the body of the car which included the window wiper fluid container. I had been able to drive my car from November to February without issues. I am asking for coverage for the damages caused by their improper work. This includes the sloppy work that was done on my car in [redacted]'s attempt to fix the initial damage.Sincerely,

Good Morning [redacted] I am writing to you in regards to the complaint that I filed against [redacted] on 3/30/2014. We are currently waiting for a response from the business. However, I received a text message from [redacted], owner of the [redacted] (the 3rd party that [redacted] authorized to complete my oil change) at 10:12 am yesterday asking me whether I am prepared to pay him for parts (details included in the complaint) or if he should pursue other action. I responded to him (at 10:27am yesterday) by stating that I am waiting for a response from [redacted]/him in regards to this complaint and that he should respond within the 2 week period you allow. I asked him to respond to the complaint formally and to please stop contacting me directly. He wrote to me again this morning and asked me for my attorney's conatct information (even though I have not mentioned an attorney). He also stated that his text was an "official notice of his intent to sure to collect an outstanding debt". He proceeded to state that he will be suing for the parts, labor, court fees, and attorney fees. The nature of his text messages lead me to believe that [redacted] has not shared information regarding this complaint with him or that he is choosing to disregard it and harass me directly. His cell phone number is [redacted]. This is information regarding the company: [redacted] Phone: [redacted] I would like to give him your email address and phone number to contact you if that is ok. Please let me know. Thanks for your help! Sincerely, [redacted]

Response:

Unfortunately, the information being provided from [redacted] is not correct and in addition she has falsified our conversation as shown so in her response. Attached is the service form that she signed, authorizing her car to have an oil change done by an outside vendor. It is against our policy to cover pre-exsisting conditions with vehicles, as stated in our lobby and on our claim check. We have denied this claim. We cannot be held liable for her pre-exsisting issues with her car.

Review: I dropped my vehicle off at the valet parking service. They inspected my vehicle and noted four separate areas of damage, none inflicting with any function of the vehicle. I picked my car up four days later, at 10:45pm and drove off. Upon arrival at my home, I tried to open my passenger side door and was unable to, so I immediately took pictures, called and e-mailed with photos attached regarding my request for a claim. I got the damages assessed and was told it happened while my vehicle was stationary, in a parking lot. Once I was told this, I relayed all information back to the valet service. They denied all parts of my claim because I drove off the lot without fully inspecting my vehicle, at 10:45pm in the dark. They made no offer at a resolution because I drove off the lot. The person claimed to hear all damages and accidents that happen on the lot at all times, and never heard about this one. They, once again pointing the finger at me, explained I drove off and there is nothing they can do, saying their employees would have told them.Desired Settlement: Repair of my front passenger fender which prohibits me from opening my passenger front door.

Response:

Mr. [redacted] did not report any damages when he picked up his vehicle from our facility. He called us later at night to report a damage. Mr. [redacted] said that when his passenger opened the passenger side door at home, that there was a minor abrasion, and when the door opened it caused more damage.

Review: I parked my car last week before leaving for a vacation in excellent condition (aside from needing to be washed). When I returned on Thursday, I discovered that my left rear bumper had appeared to be out of kilter. When I went to the rear of the vehicle, I discovered that the rear bumper had a large dent in which had resulted in the bumper becoming dislodged on the left side. I immediately went inside (I hadn't left or started the car yet) and told one of the jockeys that my car had been damaged. He came out and took some pictures and made me fill out an accident form. I was told that the manager or GM would be calling me the next day. I asked to speak with the Manager on Duty and was informed that there wasn't one as the manager had left for the day. When I got home, I called my insurance company.

The next day, I received no call from [redacted] and my insurance company estimated that there was over $900 worth of damages done to the bumper. I called Executive today and spoke with their GM [redacted] who was very dismissive. She directed me to another person named [redacted] whom never returned my calls.Desired Settlement: I want a full apology from Executive Valet's Management, full reimbursement (including out of pocket expenses) for the repairs to my car and insurance claim, and finally, I want all the charges I was charged while the vehicle was parked refunded. The car was supposed to be left in safe hands which it was not and therefore Executive did not meet their contractual obligations.

Review: I prepaid for parking service 3-29-14 through 3-31-14 through [redacted] that give executive valet parking the information. I paid $ 17.38 for 3 days I showed proof when I had arrive that I was paid in full of the above amount. Upon returning on 3-31-14 Executive charged my card $24.05 when they was not suppose to do that because I was already paid in full. I contacted executive and explained it to them I was given the run around and passed on to the next person without my issue being resolved.my reservation Id # is 2947034 and the company that the service was booked through is [redacted] and the company that charged my credit card is executive valet parking [redacted]all I want is my money refunded back to me what they charged in the amount of $ 24.05. Please help me resolved this matter. Thank you .Desired Settlement: Refund in the amount of $24.05

Response:

[redacted] booked parking for our facility through a website called: [redacted]. The customer service representative didn't realize that he prepaid with a different company. So when he returned from his trip, we accidentally charged his credit card $24.05. He called yesterday 3/31/14 to speak to the manager and she assured him that I would fix it when I came in this morning. This was the first time we heard of this issue from him.

I immediately issued a credit for $24.05 this morning 4/1/14 to resolve the accidental error. We apologize for any inconvenience.
