Yes, we did add some work to the contract which was agreed and initialed by [redacted]. He agreed to fix a leak from a bolt on the toilet tank and clean about 60 feet of gutter. This was all included in the price on the contract and initialed by both of us. If he is claiming he did any work other than what is specified in the written agreement, he did not as the contract must be modified in writing. I did not give him $1000 but I gave him $200 in cash on top of the $1000 which was also initialed. I also gave him $30.00 for gas one day as he said he didn't have any gas. I have many text messages from him also from me requesting when he is coming back and there are so many excuses he gave me. His friend died, his son was having a mental breakdown, he had pneumonia, he was in the hospital were some of the reasons week after week he could not come back. The only work he did was to put up gutter, fix the toilet which was no where near the $1200 I gave him worth of work. The gutter work I could have had done for around $300 and I could have hired a plumber to fix my toilet for $74.00. He never put in the three windows, took out 8 windows, wrapped ALL windows, enclosed the 8 spots where the windows were removed with metal studs and fiberglass with outside finish of metal matching the building. There was one day he put in about 6 hours of work when he did the gutters. He came out a few times after that and stayed about an hour. Once he had to leave because his friend died and the other time he left because he was going to "bend some metal". This job was supposed to be completed on July 10th and on August 18th, I finally gave him a deadline. After that, I was done waiting and hearing excuses from him.

She put down $1,000 and she added more work to the project that was not included in the original price and currently owes $1,000
