Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: The shop is now not telling the truth and I have the cell phone log to prove I had called the shop and the receipts which were attached to the original complaintI did not threaten themI was told when I left the shop on July 1st my parts were being ordered due to the damaged that the missing lugs nuts had done to the suspension sensorI had also already paid for the brake sensor that was damaged due to the missing lug nuts due to excessive friction from the tire wobbling (the picture was attached to the original complaint)When I called I spoke with Tom and stated I wanted to buy the parts and I would go else where to have them installed he then told me of some conversation he had with my husband (allegedly) and stated that he did not order the parts and that I could not come back to the shop because "some man stated he was my husband made them feel threatened" When I asked Tom was it me and I made those statements he stated "no" I asked about my service and warranties for the services they had previously performed and he stated they wanted to no longer do business with meSince that is their stance my funds need to be refunded since they created additional liabilities for the missing lug nuts and they saw the car 3-times after they performed the initial repairsTom also stated that he had talked with his staff when I came in of the first about the insurance liability the missing lugs nuts would have caused them had I had an accident. Again I am asking for my money back for sub par services and additional liabilities created due to the missing lug nuts that were missing from the date of pick up until DA Winner's Circle brought the car to them at my request (since I was at work) to replace the missing lug nuts
Sincerely,

Ms*** brought her vehicle to us saying the front end of her vehicle was shakingAccording to Ms***, *** told her that the vehicle had one bent wheel, and that they placed it on the passenger rear side of the vehicleIf you hit a pothole while driving, chances are you are not hitting only
one wheelWe found the passenger FRONT wheel was bent, so badly that the tire would not hold air pressureIt was below 15PSI when the vehicle arrived at our shopIt was a good thing Ms*** had just replaced the tires with Run-flats, she may not have made it here otherwiseThe passenger front wheel was then straightened, tire was put back on the wheel, and was re-balancedAfter placing the repaired wheel back on the vehicle, it was test drivenThe front end shake was not present on our test drive. We received a phone call from Ms*** the following Monday, when she said there was still a vibrationWe kindly asked her to bring the vehicle back at her convenience so we could re-check our work, and make sure there was nothing else wrong with the vehicleWhen she brought the vehicle back, we placed it on our vehicle lift and found that the passenger rear wheel was bentOur technician failed to mention/notice that there was multiple bent wheels at the time of inspectionWe admitted a portion of fault, but also restated that we had fixed part of the problemThe front end shake was gone because we repaired the front wheelThe rear wheel on the other hand is bend very badly and is causing discomfort. At this time we offered to do the mounting/balancing for free and only charge her for repairing the bent wheelShe declined further service and asked for a refund for the work we had completed. We did not charge her for work that was not completedThe front wheel which was not holding air pressure was fixedWe admitted fault for not catching the other bent wheel, even though Ms*** had mentioned the passenger rear in particularRegardless of fault, the remaining bent wheel will need to be fixed

repair. She then contacted Ms. [redacted], and let her know it would be an estimated $2,000 for transmission replacement. The work was approved and repairs started a couple days later.During the repairs, the CV joint on the rear section of the driveshaft crumbled apart. The CV joint is necessary for the vehicle's drive-ability. We could not complete the job and deliver a running and driving vehicle without replacement of said part. We then called [redacted], notified her of the extra part required, and received verbal approval to install the CV joint to complete the repairs. We were NOT told that we needed to wait for a phone call back, as stated in the complaint. [redacted] gave us approval during the original phone call. The following day we received a phone call from Ms. [redacted] saying we had not received approval to install the CV joint. We tried explaining to her that we had spoken to her daughter, who was paying for the repairs, and had received approval. We had come in under estimate for the job at $1,920, and contacted [redacted] prior to replacing the CV joint.

Customer brought in his own parts. Customer was informed no warranty for supplying his own used parts. While we were working on the engine installing the cylinder head we noticed the water pump and thermostat, had no name on the parts. They were not original BMW parts. Called customer...

and told him of the water pump and thermostat. Customer said to use his water pump and thermostat that he brought in and that he would test the vehicle after we finished the work. Vehicle's license plates were expired over a year, suspension wouldn't pass safety. Vehicle didn't have wiper blades at all, shop could not test car because of safety concerns. We advised customer, since he claimed he is mechanic, to test drive the car, for at least 45 minutes in the area of the shop, in case there were any problems, could bring the car back. He didn't do so, drove car all the way home, complained of issues related to issues regarding his parts, refused tow service costs and refused to pay for diagnosis for his used parts. We have continually offered to look at the car again, customer has agreed to bring car back, but filed this complaint before we were able to see the car again.

misfires and bad air suspension, it was not in driving condition. Her initial phone call was received by [redacted], who told her she should bring her 2004 Range Rover to Bradley Motor Werke to have it properly diagnosed. After looking her vehicle over we found it needed a full tune up and oxygen sensors replaced. [redacted] contacted Ms. [redacted] with an estimate which was approved verbally. With the savings she received by replacing the correct parts, we were also able to repair part of Ms. [redacted]'s air suspension and also replaced the thermostat assembly. The total cost of repair ($3,810.14) was still less than the quote she received from Master Auto Repair ($5,000). We did have a mix up when ordering the air strut's, which we amended with apologies and having the correct parts ordered over night. The vehicle was delivered as promised on Monday June 20. Our shop does offer a 2 year/24,000 mile warranty on all parts and labor, which was verbally expressed to Ms. [redacted] when she picked the vehicle up.Ms. [redacted] brought her vehicle back a few days later because the air suspension on the front left corner had deflated. We re-calibrated the system with our scan tool at which time we also checked the vehicles stored codes to see if there was another issue. We found out that the ride level sensor was not functioning properly. This is something we run into quite often, on any vehicle with a complicated system like air suspension: When the vehicle was brought to us, the air suspension was not functioning. We replaced the obvious issue, which was a leaking air bag in the front. Once we have that part of the system functioning properly, another issue will show itself, such as the ride level sensor. We as a shop do not test drive cus[redacted]ers vehicles for more than 10 miles unless specifically requested to. During our test drive we did not experience any issues such as the suspension deflating. At this time we discussed replacement of the part with Ms. [redacted] but did not schedule repair.Approximately a week later we received a phone call from Ms. [redacted] stating she was having her brakes replaced by someone who was a mechanic (no shop name was discussed) and that two of her lug nuts were missing from the vehicle. We were then contacted by the gentlemen who was replacing the brakes, who said he would stop by to have us install the missing lug nuts. The lug nuts were replaced, at no cost of Ms. [redacted]'s and nothing else was said about the incident.  This was nearly two weeks after our shop had serviced her vehicle, countless miles had been put on the vehicle and other people/shops had worked on it. No damage was done to the vehicle from said incident. The brake pad sensor has to be replaced with a new part any time the brake pads are changed. On July 1 (Friday) Ms. [redacted] came by the shop due to an air suspension issue. We again re-calibrated the system and discussed replacement of the ride level sensor. At this point Ms. [redacted] was getting frustrated because she wanted her vehicle fixed. Our shop agreed to replace the part if Ms. [redacted] ordered it from Land Rover. We discussed repairs for the following week after the holiday and told her to have a happy 4th of July.Just a few minutes after Ms. [redacted] left, her husband came into the office to discuss the vehicle. Mr. [redacted] was visibly upset, asked why his wife's vehicle was not fixed yet, demanding answers and repairs. At this time Mr [redacted] mentioned he had found at least 1 of the 2 wheel lug nuts from the vehicle in his front yard. We again apologized, although we cannot blindly take fault when other people had worked on her vehicle and it had been nearly 2 weeks since service. After a brief discussion with Mr. [redacted], he began using offensive language and making physical threats against our technicians. On July 5 Ms. [redacted] called to schedule an appointment. We told her unfortunately we can no longer work on your vehicle because we are receiving physical threats related to the vehicle.
