The product that the client selected had failed. We use a specific brand that we have used numerous times and has never failed before. When the client insists on using a product of their choice, the warranty is voided. We still made attempts to help resolve the issue. The
owners of the company have come to the house on more than one occasion to also help resolve the issue. Only Bradley Painting employees have been at the clients property, and it is not their fault that the product failed. The labor cost for the deck was never paid to the company. The client was not happy with the finished product, so we did not press the issue of the labor cost. The quote for $8,given by another company to fix the deck is to completely rebuild the deck. In order for us to begin the application to the deck all over again, we would have to use the products that we know to be reliable. We would also request the original amount f the contract agreement of $900. We have already exceeded this amount between all the time and labor spent on the project. As of the business address being changed; that is due to the owner of the company's father that had passed away. We had changed office location since then, although we do not understand where this could be an issue in any way. We have been in business long enough to the point where we value repeat business. We always try our best to solve every issue or touch up that comes up. Unfortunately, this specific issue is not covered by the warranty although we will still help resolve the problem if we can come to some type of an agreement with the original labor cost

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:From: [redacted] <[redacted].com>Date: Mon, Jun 27, 2016 at 7:36 PMSubject: Re: You have a new message from the Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania in regards to your complaint #[redacted].To: Revdex.com <[email protected]>It makes me so angry for Bradley's to lie like that, to say that they tried coming back and that I would not allow them to.  I called their office all day Sunday and Monday morning.  There was not one call back from anyone.  I left at least 10 or more calls to them through the day and Monday morning I must have called 10 times until I wrote to the Revdex.com. Please note this.  When you contact Bradley's please ask them who tried coming back and who called.  There was absolutely no contact from them with us.  Gus on Saturday, promised us that he would return on Sunday and again we never heard from anyone. On Mon, Jun 27, 2016 at 5:40 PM, [redacted] <[redacted].com> wrote:Once we wrote the check IN ERROR, we never heard from  Bradley Painting ever again.  As far as all the damage the was done to our beams, how dare they say that there was grease on them.  The beams are on the ceiling not over the stove, and not even in the same room or anywhere the kitchen.  Our beams are irreplacable and Gus assured me that the beams he would make sure that no paint got on them and there was pain on almost every one of them.  This is something that can't be fixed and has to be replaced.  I hired Bradley's to paint as we are listing our home and now until everything is fixed we have been set back with the sale of our home.  They said that the person who created all the damage no longer works for them and I still have all the problems and the paint job was not completed.  The company [redacted] Insurance Company was contacted for damages, which they have a claim already filed in our name.  What I want is the money I paid them back!!!!!!!  Please help us with this.

The 1st day of the project did not go very well due to an employee that did not stay as neat and clean as we would like. That person no longer works for us. The 2cd day, we were determined to make things right and clean up any mistakes from the previous day; which we did. The client is mentioning...

beams that had gotten some material on them. We wiped with only water, which would not clean it properly. The client would not allow us to come back or to use a trusted solution that would clean the beams.  The beams seemed to alteady have some type of a grease coating on them which allowed the preparation material to really stick to it. We would have loved to clean them oroperly. However, the client would not allow it.

Review: I am also filing a complaint for their failure to return my phone calls and/or make repairs. Work was done improperly in June 2014. The concrete repair work is failing and previous repair is in-superior and does not match existing concrete. I have sent photos to this contractor and called numerous times to find out what they plan to do. The have failed to respond to any of my texts and phone calls. I have previously requested that they correct the job or return my monies for the job. I have yet to hear from them. At this time, I would like to have the entire amount charged for the concrete repair returned to me. I called as late as today (AM) and was promised a call back. No one has called me or responded to my text messages. The concrete is chipping off and the concrete repair color is different from the original concrete work they did. The concrete looks worse than it previous had and I will need to have another contractor correct there poor work. I am very dissatisfied. This is not the only issue I have had with this contractor, but they eventually corrected the other issues. The concrete remains outstanding.Desired Settlement: The return of the $400.00 paid for the concrete work.

Response:

Bradley Painting responded to [redacted]'s complaint by re-patching the concrete on her front patio and skim coating with [redacted]. We had this done within 4 days of the initial complaint. Due to the weather and other clients, we could not have come out any sooner. [redacted] has been an excellent client of ours, and so it is very unfortunate that she was unhappy with our response time to resolve the issue.

I had some work done by Bradley Painting. After some issues they finally completed part of the job to satisfaction. They did make some recommendations for repairing concrete which has been nothing but a headache. The resurfaced the concrete and after only 6 months, the resurfacing is peeling off and the concrete looks worse than before. I have contacted them several times and still have not received a response back from them. For their lack of response in the past and currently, I question their client satisfaction policies and standing behind their work.
