Adjuster assigned by *** Insurance to inspect hurricane damage to my home. Nov. 29 no adjuster yet!
I had hurricane damage to my back door and windows from Hurricane Irma reported to insurance agency and to *** which has my homeowners policy. Now Nov. 30 Countless phone calls to *** and to phone number given by *** so far no one has inspected. It is required within 2 weeks. Simply do not answer their phone or email

Desired Outcome

I need an adjuster to inspect hurricane damage to my home!

Bradley Stinson & Associates Response • Jan 09, 2018

On 10/30/2017 our firm was assigned the claim for *** for wind damages sustained to her home from Hurricane Irma. On 10/30/2017 the assigned adjuster left a voice message for *** requesting a return call to schedule the inspection.
On 11/29/2017 we were informed by the adjuster assigned ***'s claim had returned home due to personal reasons and was not able to continue his deployment with our firm. We immediately reassigned the claim to another adjuster on 11/29/2017 and the new adjuster made contact with *** on 11/29/2017.
Our adjuster inspected the home on 12/09/2017 with ***.
The adjuster submitted the estimate and report to the carrier on 12/11/2017.
We empathize with our insureds at their time of loss and keep them informed throughout the claim process.
Unfortunately, due to high volume of claims from Hurricane Irma continuous updates to each claimant become unrealistic.

Customer Response • Jan 09, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is not reasonable for a company to have an employee who does not respond to customers or complete work for a month and use that as an excuse not to comply with inspection for hurricane damage. It was nearly two weeks before second adjuster did inspection.

Bradley Stinson & Associates Response • Jan 23, 2018

We agree with Ms.- it is unacceptable for an employee to be non-responsive to a customer's needs. Our firm has learned many lessons from Hurricane Irma, a storm that generated over 850,000 claims in Florida alone. We have implemented measures to ensure that customers are kept fully informed of their pending claim regardless of the severity of a storm and the large number of claims that may be generated due to same.
The State of Florida mandates that all claims be resolved w/in 90 days of a loss and our firm has adhered to this industry standard.
Regardless, I am ashamed that Ms. was not kept fully abreast during the claim process and offer her my apology.

This company sent a Claims Adjuster to assess a claim for Windstorm damage to my home. The adjuster made an inspection and never filed the claim.
A Claims Adjuster by the name of *** was sent by this company on behalf of *** Windstorm Insurance Agency) to do an inspection of my claim related to damage sustained by my home during Hurricane Harvey. Mr. inspected my damage on September 02, 2017 and said he would file his report within 2 weeks. The report has never been filed. Multiple calls to Mr. as well as Bradley Stinson & Associates are never answered and I have had no communications about my claim. If nobody will answer a phone or answer an email, I do not know what to do other than file this Revdex.com complaint.

Desired Outcome

I would like the Claims Report to be filed with *** Windstorm Insurance Agency as soon as possible.
