First this system was purchased, installed and commissioned from Lorn B[redacted] on Nov 6 2014 the previous owner of...
Bradley's Water Systems. Therefore all the problems in the complaint had happened BEFORE Gordon bought the business. Also Gordon bought the contents of the business under a different company name, Gordon did not take responsibility for any warranty on sales done before he bought the business.
March 22 2016 we received a phone call from [redacted] stating that his water system was not working. Gordon went as a service call and discovered there were some issues with the system and quoted [redacted] for the work that was to be done. It took [redacted] over 3 weeks to clear up the bill. We had told him that we would try to fix the problem. We did a second service call on April 4th 2016, when we quoted [redacted] we gave him massive discounts so that he didn't incur costly charges and still haven't been paid. The manufacturers warranty was done as of Nov 6 2015.
This system was sold to [redacted] from another company owner we didn't install or commission the system therefore we tried our best to resolve the problem to best of our ability. [redacted] was very difficult to deal with and seemed we couldn't please him after being very attentive to his needs.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/05/10) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
[redacted] I have a bill of sale showing purchase date of the water system May 2015 ad a one year manufactures warranty. I spoke directly to the manufacturer of the membrane and he assured me that no matter who owns the business they can provide warranty work if they are an approved distributor. Bradleys still remains an approved distributor. To date I have not received a job quote proving they were gong to give me a bill to redo the work that Gordon did two weeks before t had to be redone again. basically I never expected nor was told that the work he did, and then failed 2 weeks later, would be a bill I was responsible for.
