After finishing the minor bathjob remodel after ~ 6 months, [redacted] failed to provide me any itemized bills though it was promised the day after I paid. The minor bathroom remdeling was start early November, 2012 and was finally completed on 05-Apr-2013. On that last date, [redacted] requested final payment for which I gave to him. I asked for an itemized bill for services rendered for my records. He replied that the cashed check would provide documentation for the service. I had repeated phone conversations with [redacted] who repeatedly said the itemized bill was forthcoming. He noted that he was busy with other jobs and preparing his income taxes for filing. Not receiving any bills as of early May, I tried calling [redacted] again six time during normal work hours; each time the phone automatically went into his voice mail. No calls were returned. Because the calls to his cell phone and home answering machine are not returned, I have opted to file this complaint with the Revdex.com.Desired SettlementItemized bill for all work performed between early November, 2012 and 05-Apr-2013.Business' Initial Response I sent the consumer a bill marked paid in full pertaining to the job I did and consumer already had an itemized copy of the bill from the original purchase. All I added was replacement of cherry wood built in medicine cabinet and lights and supplies. Usually I have customer use the check they provide me with as proof since no tax deduction is required. Consumer's Final Response Hi [redacted],Please find attached a copy of the "invoice" that Brad's Home Improvement provided for the work he performed around the medicine cabinet in our bathroom. I assume [redacted] has the original of the NCR copy he provided to me. As you can see, there is no amount listed for the cost of the work, nor any explanation for what the cost would be. The source for the date on the paperwork is unknown. The work was not performed on that date nor was it delivered on or about that date. I am just trying to understand how the cost of the work was arrived at. Thanks for your assistance,[redacted]

Improper install of vinyl flooring caused water damage to bathroom floor. Repeated requests to contractor to repair have not been successful.Contractor completed installation of new vinyl flooring, including underlay, in the kitchen and bathroom on the second floor of my 2 family home on 9/29/12. Several months later the tenant notified me that the floor was buckling. The cause was due to the improper seating of the toilet. Contractor returned to re-seat toilet and informed me that he would return to repair the flooring. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that there was no underlay in the 3X3 area around the toilet. Numerous attempts to contact the contractor to fulfill his responsibility have been unsuccessful. Desired SettlementInstall rest of bath underlay and reinstall matching vinyl floor in bath and kitchen as the vinyl floor used in original install is no longer available.
