Review: I bought a can of Brad's Organic soybeans. When I opened the can there was a funny yellowish glue like substance under the lid and on in the can. I rinsed them many times to remove this substance.Thinking I had cleaned them well, and thinking maybe it was supposed to be there, I proceeded to eat the beans. A few days later, I started having some digestive problems. The only thing I could thing I could imagine was the cause was the beans. I filled out information on their website and sent several emails to Brad's Organics customer service asking if the substance on the beans was normal. (i did not mention the digestive problems). As of today, they have not responded to any of my inquiries. There is no telephone number listed on their website to try to call them.Desired Settlement: I am simply looking for them to reply to my emails and see if they know what the substance on the beans might have been. I think it is unprofessional for them not to reply.

The “yellowish glue like substance” in the can of soybeans is the compound that is used when sealing the cans. There are times when it will be visible, but it is not a risk factor and would not cause health issues.

We are sorry the customer had to rinse the beans off several times. We've had no other reports of people having diarrhea from any of our beans.

Brad's Organic thought it was best to correspond to me directly which I thought was strange being you were handling the problem. Anyways they did answer my question as to why I had to send several emails to them regarding the problem I had. Don't know whether I buy their excuse though. I think at this time I am done with them and do appreciate your time and help in this matter and so I thank you so very much.
