Review: During my exam I was fitted for contacts. While trying to find the correct contacts for my vision the doctor had an assistant taking down notes and kept changing his mind on the correct RX. He finally came to a RX and had me put on the trials and I could see. Upon leaving the exam room he told his assistant to add a 10. 10? what does this mean? I am the patient and know nothing about how this could affect my new RX because I am still wearing the RX of the trials without the 10 added.

I paid for the contacts and once they came in I put the new ones on I realized that they were blurry in my right eye. I then put back on the trials that they gave me during my appt and I could see better.

I called the business and explained to them of the situation and explained about how the Dr. added a 10 before we left the exam room, but they would not exchange the right contact RX because they told me that I opened the box already. I explained to them that I wouldn't know if the RX was right unless I put the contacts on. I am the patient and I would assume my RX was correct. Why would I double check the contact before opening and how would I know what that when Dr. [redacted] added the 10 to my RX without having me actually wearing the added 10 contact for my right eye prior to leaving the exam room would affect my sight? I am trusting that Dr. [redacted] would have known my outcome. Even if I would have wore my trials for a week and then decided to order my contact I would have still gotten and opened the incorrect RX.Desired Settlement: I would like for the office to take back the incorrect pair of my right eye RX and order a new pair so that I have the correct RX of the trial pair that they sent me home in.
