We did appreciate this neighbor cooperating with us to facilitate the process of roofing the structure next door. My project manager did coordinate with this neighbor and let him know we would replace the grill cover. When I got the news he was unhappy with the clean up, the project
manager and I went over and moved everything the planters and swept up everything to his satisfaction. We gave him a check for the cover. He also noticed a scratch in his plastic table that he didn't recognize from before the project so we gave him the amount he sought for the table as well. I discussed our regret for the stress we caused him and he accepted our apology. We parted friends
