Review: I just moved into my trailer middle of August. My landlord was using the water from my trailer to power wash the trailer beside me. So she said she wanted to keep the water in her name till she was done. She told me on 10/04/2014 that the water company would be up that week to transfer the water into my name and to make sure I have my $125.00 meter deposit. She told me that is all I would need. I waited all week. On Friday my friend was outside when the water company came and asked him if he lived in my home. He said no I don't. The water man then said well I'm shutting the water off because this has been ongoing. He then shut it off and left without ever coming to the door. I went to get my mail that same day and in my mailbox on the 10/10/2014 was the contract and bill from the water company. Post mark on the enevelope was dated 10/07/2014. It came to me on 10/10/2014 partially open at that. In the envelope was a contract that says at the top "Request for Service Oct 6, 2014. It explains billing and at the bottom it says $125.00 deposit and I was to sign it and date it. Then the other paper says $219.38 was due by 10/25/14. They put my deposit on it plus my landlords bill. Now at the bottom of this paper hand written it says and I quote "Sign and return application with a check for $219.38 by October 9, 2014 or water will be shutoff". I got this on the 10th! If I was going to pay all that how on earth would I have got it to them on time anyway? They mailed on the 7th, it got here on the 10th and shutoff was the 9th! How can you have a date of payment due 10/25/14 and written at the bottmon that it will be shutoff if it isn't paid by the 10/09/14 and have a contract in it stating request for service 10/06/2014 which proves it was not in my name yet nor was it my bill? The lady was rude and hung up on me. Now they want another $90 to turn it back on! They are not professional and are not regulated by the PUC. My wife has a cancer and many medical problems which makes it "Pain & Suffering". HmmmmmmDesired Settlement: My deposit of $125. It is already the 14th so I would not owe a full month for October either. And I refuse to pay $90.00 reconnect fee when it wasn't my fault. So I will pay the $125.00 deposit and billing from when it is put into my name until billing date. As of right now legally I owe $125.00 and nothing else I have no water bill because I have no water! My wife and little girl are the ones that are suffering. I have all dates and documents to prove my story plus a witness.
