I have used A Daisy A Day for at least 10 different arrangements on different occasions. You should know that it is impossible for any flower shop to stock EVERY single vase that you see online. Therefore, it is best to call and see if they have what you're looking for. When they don't have what I need, Daisy A Day always makes a great suggestions about what else would work. I read the negative review about a customer trying to use Ebates.com. But seriously, how many florists do you know that use Ebates???!!!! I probably would have called her names too. Anyway, my arrangements always turn out gorgeous. Thanks for working with me on numerous occasions to get the flowers I needed.
I was attempting to order an expensive arrangement in the Iowa, Louisiana, area. I do not live in this area, so I was using Teleflora online. The arrangement I wanted to send included a pitcher base and it was important to me that that base be used with my arrangement. I contacted the A Daisy a Day location in Iowa, Louisiana, and they were most helpful and polite, but did not have the pitcher base and suggested I contact the Lake Charles store. I contacted this store at XXX-XXX-XXXX and spoke to the owner, explaining what I wanted to order and he confirmed he had the pitcher base that I was seeking. When I explained that my recipient was located in a rural area closer to the Iowa business, he made a rude comment of how far it was and I asked if it was possible to get the pitcher base through the Iowa store. He insisted it had to be done in the Lake Charles store. As I was attempting to determine how I wanted to handle this, via Teleflora (ebates.com) or direct order with the Lake Charles store, he rudely indicated they did not do business with "ebate.com" and hung up on me as I was speaking. I called back immediately, in an effort to discuss this further with him and he would not come to the phone, of course. I have NEVER been treated so rudely by a florist ever and have no plans to ever call them again. Unfortunately for their Iowa location, which was extremely polite and helpful, this impacts their business as well as I understand they are one and the same.
