I hired this company to clean my apartment for a move-out inspection. They said in their quote that they would clean the following (directly from a Facebook message) "dusting, vacuuming, window tracks and inside of windows, inside and out of refrigerator, inside and out of cabinets, inside and out of the microwave as well as oven. Well also get, counters, toilet, sink, tub/shower, floors, doors, door trim, baseboards."
Once the cleaning was done, photos were sent as I was no longer in the city. Through an inspection with the apartment, they advised me the blinds were not clean, nor the washer/dryer appliance. I advised the company of the issues and they said "Unfortunately in our previous emails the blinds were not included in the list of items mentioned and where not requested nor the washer and dryer." However, they went back to clean the blinds.
The company did another walk through and said the window sills and baseboards were also not cleaned as well as the walls (which I didn't expect the company to scrub). I have now been charged a partial cleaning fee, which was taken out of my security deposit for the dirty items (window sills and baseboards). I have not yet contacted the company for a follow-up as no one can go back in the apartment to clean it again.
I no longer have the pictures sent to me from the company when it was cleaned. However, I do have the exchange of messages through Facebook.
Hi! Thank you for the feedback. During the initial email I stated everything that is included in the clean. The email never included blinds or the lint trap in the dryer. During any clean we never clean lint traps in dryers but we do clean the outside of the appliance which we did during the clean. Blinds are an extra charge and was not added to your bill. In my attempt to satisfy the customer I did go back and clean the blinds as requested by the customer and there was no extra charge for my return on the service that was never charged for in the first place. After the apartments first walk through the blinds where the only thing I was asked to fix and I did do that. Nothing was mentioned about baseboards and window seals until the second walk through which was after the customer had the carpet cleaners come. I was told there was no need to vacuum but I had to do a thorough vacuum because the amount of animal hair was getting all over the rag when cleaning the baseboards. After the thorough vacuum I re did the baseboards to remove any access animal hair. I do have all emails and pictures between me and the customer and am able to send proof. I would love to return the tip but that is all I can do as I have done everything I was asked to do plus extra that was never charged for.

While I strongly believe blinds should be included in the costs (as it seems obvious if window sills are going to be cleaned) and baseboards weren’t done to satisfaction of my complex (though it’s included in my cost of service), I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
