Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I'm extremely disappointed that the owner refuses to take responsibility for her actionsA mistake was made on her part and I don't accept the resolution provided by the owner based on her lack of ownership of fault in cutting my hair I absolutely had no issues with the fact that my natural hair wasn't straightened prior to the braiding service I've had my hair braided several times in the past, including without any straightening occurring, so that was not an issue I declined to have the braids completed as originally planned due to the quality of the work I was not pleased with the quality of the work after taking a look at one of the braids I work in a professional environment and have to maintain professional dress and appearance My hair was stretched in the braiding process and I immediately noticed that my hair was cut when I arrived home The short hair was only in the place in which the braid was removed I don't cut my hair and have not received any prior cutting services from anywhere else prior I immediately contacted the owner prior to styling my hair so that she was aware of the mistake I have no reason to make allegations against the owner At this point, I would simply like the owner to admit to making a mistake. I do believe that she was angry that I no longer wanted her services and cut my hair in her haste to have my leave the salon

I'm extremely disappointed that the owner refuses to take responsibility for her actions. A mistake was made on her part and I don't accept the resolution provided by the owner based on her lack of ownership of fault in cutting my hair.  I absolutely had no issues with the fact that my natural hair wasn't straightened prior to the braiding service.  I've had my hair braided several times in the past, including without any straightening occurring, so that was not an issue.  I declined to have the braids completed as originally planned due to the quality of the work.  I was not pleased with the quality of the work after taking a look at one of the braids.  I work in a professional environment and have to maintain professional dress and appearance.  My hair was stretched in the braiding process and I immediately noticed that my hair was cut when I arrived home.  The short hair was only in the place in which the braid was removed.  I don't cut my hair and have not received any prior cutting services from anywhere else prior.  I immediately contacted the owner prior to styling my hair so that she was aware of the mistake.  I have no reason to make false allegations against the owner.  At this point, I would simply like the  owner to admit to making a mistake. I do believe that she was angry that I no longer wanted her services and cut my hair in her haste to have my leave the salon.

To whom it may concernMy Name is [redacted] Owner of Braiding You I have reviewed the complaint from the client that received services from my salon. The services that were received was hair wash deep conditioning treatment and Detangling I began braiding the client's hair and the one...

Cornrow that was completed she didn't approve so I removed it by cutting the end of the extension that sealed the braid so it wouldn't unravel. I then removed the braid from the client's head. I detangled her hair once more and put a ponytail in the client's hair with a ponytail band. This complaint is false because it is practically impossible to cut a client's hair if the hair isn't there to begin with. I braided an inch past her hair and upon removal I cut the part of the extension that had the slipknot in it for security. This client was actually upset because her hair wasn't straightened before the installation of braids. I informed her the if the hair is straightened then braided there is a greater chance of hair loss because of the tension used in all braiding techniques. She decided then she didn't want the service but without telling me she would rather find a stylist that would straighten her hair before braiding it. She allowed me to continue for one braid but then said she wanted to examine the work. I never cut her hair I don't even cut hair I am a natural hairstylist meaning I don't have the credentials to do so.[redacted]
