Hi, I am very sorry about your recent incident...There are numerous ways to purchase tickets to our venue...Box office, on line and through ur authorized ticket sellers...It seems you purchased tickets from an unauthorized vendor Our lineups have national headliners every night...There are occasionally celebrity drop ins, but we never advertise them because their schedules are subject to change We would like to make it up to you by offering complimentary admission to another show and a round of drinks on the house If you want a refund instead, we would be willing to refund the drink portion....However since you did not purchase a ticket from our box office, website, our secondary market partners or an authorized seller, we cannot issue a refund for the ticket amount

Hi, Is the customer requesting a refund for drinks and food ? If so can they produce proof of what they spent ? If this is for food and beverage we would be glad to work out something. If this is for admissions we cannot offer a... refund...These tickets were sold by a third party source , they would need to get the refund from the company that sold it to them.. Honestly a lot of this sounds quite exaggerated ... I am not saying we're perfect but it seems like there is some stuff that has been exaggerated blown up by this individual.. Hi, I am very sorry about your experience Obviously you purchased the tickets through a secondary sourceThe main way people can buy tickets to our new venue is through our box office or through our website Other known sources such as *** *** ***,
and *** *** There are some issues with people out there selling tickets that are not Authorized by the clubAdvertising names of people that are not performing.. We make it very clear on our website on the homepage to be alert for this type of activity Whoever we don't want to see you unhappy customer and I would be willing to offer a refund to the customer for the purchase of the ticket even though we did not receive that money the individual seller did However we cannot refund the money for beverage and beverage consumedWe make it very clear on our website, as well as any tickets purchased, as well as when a person first arrives at the venue, that there is the beverage minimum which is very common in virtually every comedy club in the USA.... Please let us know what the amount spent on the ticket was And where to send the refund

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

First, I do want to say that I will be happy to accept the club's financial offer to refund the tickets. I understand about the minimum's, and while we would not have gone to the club had certain performers not been there, I think it is fair. The reason I didn't click the "accept response" button was that I do not have contact info and thought if I clicked accept, that might just automatically close everything out.So, if the club can provide a general email box, I will send my contact info to mail the refund. The Revdex.com suggested not putting any personal info in these messages, which is why I am not including mine here. It was all included in my original submission, so feel free to provide to the club. The tickets were a total of $40 for 2, which I believe is standard.All of that said, in addition to the financial, I do believe the club bears some responsibility to the actions of its chosen sales staff. In their response, they indicated that primarily sales are through the website, the club, and places like living social, groupon, etc. However, their website ([redacted] under the employment tab, clearly solicits salespeople to sell directly in Times Square. What I would like to see is something on their site confirming they will have a zero tolerance policy to fraudulent advertising and some legit follow-through to enforce. It would be very easy to trace, as all their tickets have initials of their referrals. If someone is caught lying about performers, they will be excused from the representing the club. Based on the interaction with the staff on hand (which admittedly might not represent club values), they not only seemed to care less we were scammed---but they were fairly mocking in their responses ("to be fair, why would you ever trust someone in Times Square" "I will look forward to your [redacted] review", were a couple of the direct quotes.) These scamming salespeople are directly impacting not only the brand of the Broadway Comedy Club, but also the brand of NYC and Times Square. Comedy Clubs are supposed to be fun---they represent so much that is great in the world of entertainment.
