Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:charging such a high amount (nearly $400) to "probably" fix an air conditioner is not right to the publicI informed Brake Masters to fix the issue and "have my vehicle blow cold air" to only find out they completed a portion of the jobThis is a complete fraud by the company to scam customers out of businessHaving them tell a customer it is one thing only to find out that it is something else two months down the roadI asked for the WHOLE problem to be fixed and not be fixed in portionsIf the receipt read "May need further repairs", why not inform me when picking up the vehicles to have the whole job done and not half of it? Why charge nearly $one visit and $another visit? I I should have gone to [redacted] next door Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

Good
Afternoon I have reviewed this
complaint I am sorry to hear that Mr
[redacted] ac is not currently working. Upon reviewing this I see
that the work that was completed on 3/7/was recommended on
5/14/2015. That is an extremely long time for any ac system to be aloud to
collect moisture which unfortunately moisture is a major enemy of ac
systems this can also be the reason for other failures in the ac
systemWith that being said I do also see the invoice from 3/7/that
states exactly which ac hose was replaced and also has a note that vehicle
"may need other repairs this is a starting point". From
what I remember we also offered to warranty the evacuation and
recharge portion of the service which was $113.35. Also the line that is
needed is for the part and for labor. I believe what the
customer is referring to as far as the "not a guaranteed
fix"
is due to the fact that the nature of ac systems there are multiple components
and any of them can fail at anytime we cannot ever be certain that parts we
have not replaced will not go badI apologize that Mr[redacted] feels this way
and hope we can continue to service his vehicles
Thank
You
Chris
