BRAKES FOR LESS responding to the [redacted] complaint who seems to be unhappy with our free visual inspection service, our first service was a oil change. while completing the oil change the tech noticed the  brake fluid was very dark in color and recommended a bleed the brake fluid...

hydraulics system to be flushed also the front pads were low and rotors warn, I then gave a quick price for repairs needed on the front axil.  recommended a full visual brake inspection the next time she came in, she said she would be back later to do the repairs and she did, when we first drove her car in I told her I smelled gas and would look for the leak while doing the complete free visual inspection. after removing the brake drums we noticed she needed more brake repairs and gave her the full estimate for the brake repairs, we then pointed out the fuel line leak which showed a galvanic reaction of rust to be the cause and a white milky film from the rain that day which would reduce the odor of gas. We gave her the free estimate for the fuel line repairs and she declined I then asked if she knew someone who could do the repairs for her and to take pictures to show them the leaky rusty fuel line location, recommended a two splice compression fittings to temp fix the leak and save money until she could replace the full fuel line that needed to be fixed first. WE also offered a student discount and financing available. which she declined.
