The business has changed the condenser unit, they have take off $250.00 for July’s rent, they have paid the customer’s July electric bill, they have offered 6 or 7 units to transfer to, they also offered to break her lease with no fees. There was a small hole found in the duct work but that has since been repaired.

Review: I submitted notice July 2013 to end my lease at the end of September 2013. I was recently given a ledger to show what I owe in regards to my final rent/end of lease cost/etc. I had paid $200 towards these costs with a Money Order purchased from USPS. Unfortunately, in packing and moving, I have lost many of my receipts. I recall distinctly handling my MO to an employee in the leasing office, and the employee has acknowledged getting the MO from me. However, there is no record of this MO on my ledger. I have asked multiple times about having this credited to my account. I have had no resolution. I understand things get lost; the office recently moved from a temporary office to a permanent location, etc. However, as a long-term tenant with no other issues with the property, I would think some sort of resolution could be brought to this.Desired Settlement: Consider the remaining balance of my closing out fees settled.

Review: After attempting to contact the property manager, [redacted], via email and not receiving a phone call or email in return, I walked into the rental office to speak with her and she had another leasing agent close her office door and blinds and refused me service as she has done a number of times in the past. She then emailed me stating to email her instead so that she can keep record of what we discuss. I emailed her inquiring about the rental increase notice that was sent to me, the spike in my electric bill due to portable units running in my apt., and an explanation of why I was being charged a reservation fee. She responded to me via email stating that she has spent a large amount of time on the phone with the City of Richmond, the corporate office, and now the Revdex.com and she's choosing not to renew my lease at its expiration, never addressed the other issues. She's clearly upset because I outsourced assistance that I wasn't receiving from this office. The property manager failed to provide me with another apartment equivalent to my current apartment which I needed to move out of due to the broken A/C unit which they were aware of before I moved in and is the reason the previous tenant moved out (the previous tenant told me this herself). She's only shown me downstairs units which I've made clear I do not want and renovated apartments in which the rent would be higher. I have not been shown any two bedroom upstairs garden apartments like the one I live in now.

Regards,

These apartments are horrible. In the last four years my vehicle has been broken into 4 times, my fiancé was attacked at gunpoint , we had bedbug infestation courtesy of our lovely neighbors, apartment has been flooded, we have gone through 3 washing machines one of which exploded, and last but not least we live across the street from a govt. substituted ghetto . The maintenance done on these buildings is a joke. we had a problem with our bedroom door not closing so instead of the maintenance man shaving the door so it would fit the door frame he lopped of a piece of the door with a saw. You could see inside the room with the door shut. We complained and they brought a new door which was not painted. The most recent event was our water was shut off for the fourth time in the past 2 months. The manager said it was due to a small leak. This small leak turned out to be a ruptured water line due to a construction crew working on the pool. When they cut the water on we had no pressure, no hot water, and the junk coming through the line destroyed our washing machine which leaked water into our downstairs neighbor’s apartment. It’s ok though they gave him buckets. Don’t move here

Review: A/C unit in apartment has been defective entire summer. I've contacted the rental office, corporate office, channel 12 news, and the City of Richmond to assist me in resolving this issue. I'm willing to relocate to a different unit, however the property manager has yet to show me another unit equivalent or better than the unit I'm currently residing.

There was also an issue with the maintenance staff not responding to an emergency call. After having the compressor changed in the apartment, I walked in to my apartment and felt heat blowing from the A/C unit and smelled something burning. The next day we found out that there was a burned wired and chip in the unit. No one was held responsible for not responding to my emergency call.

The temperature in the apartment in extremely high and my electric bill has more than quadrupled since I've been having these issue because the temperature never reaches what the thermostat is set to.Desired Settlement: I'd like for the property to either fix the issue or find another unit to the standards of the unit I'm in currently. I'd also like to be reimbursed/credited one month's rent for the suffering, inconvenience, and monetary problems this has caused on my husband and I.
