Unfortunately our experience with Prominent Homes has been extremely negativeThe lack of communication and their unprofessionalism has been a constant theme throughout the entire experience, regardless of the phase or stage of the building process we were in Due to the continued incompetence of Promients team we were required to initiate follow up constantlyAt first we were met with agreeableness and ownership of the faults and flaws that were still outstanding in the house upon time of possessionThis however quickly went through a complete reversal when we asked for further communication after weeks of no update or fixes and were later directed to New Home Warranty It is certainly unfortunate that Prominent cannot uphold their commitments and contractual obligationsThis is completely true both before and after the New Home Warranty process Home builders must remember that they are in the business of producing valued products that customers will curate into their homesCustomer service and quality control are always necessary, regardless of the industry, but especially when dealing with customers homes I could never in good consciousness recommend them to to anyone, let alone friends and family
In we built a house with Prominent Homes In OkotoksAs we were beginning the process we had owners approaching us and telling us about their experiences which were all negative, but we carried on with the build anywayAs time went on it became clear that this builder didnt have a clue on what they were doing, that's too to bottomWe only had one walk through and that was the electrical inspection that was itOur house was left open to the elements and had rain goin through it for weeks with nobody taking care of itThey cut a lot of corners and charge you for itWe had the house inspected by a reputable inspection company, which Prominent disregardedThe one comment made by our inspector that really stood out was how much gross negligence was apparentStarting with the lack of knowledge, supervision and very poor workmanship practices and not to mention the horrible installation practicesWhen we spoke with the site superintendent he told us he would handle the problemsNobody ever showed upThey refused to deal with it I strongly urge anyone looking to build in okotoks, stay away from these guys
