Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2016/09/18) */ Case number [redacted] after the conversation with you , you informed me to email you my side of the story Back on July I met with [redacted] ***, the parents of [redacted] [redacted] were in charge of finding someone to roof their sons house I gave them a quote and explained to them there would be a possibility we would not be able to get the job finished this year , and if we couldn't we would make sure it was water tight as much as possible to make it through the winter At that point they decided to hire us (Bran Roofing ) to do there roof , they gave me a deposit and signed the contract A few weeks ago there was a message left on my answering machine , from [redacted] stating that he wanted his deposit backHe didn't leave a number to call him back so I called [redacted] She informed me she still wanted me to do the roof , so I was to plan on it Then last week I received the letter from you , I then contacted [redacted] about the letter and she said her son contacted you , not her She again said she wanted us to still do the job , and she gave me her sons number to call and let him know that I've called two times and left him messages and he has not respondedSo as of today this is where we standhis material has already been purchased , We are working hard so we can get all the people ahead of him done At that point weather permitted we will do his house this year if not it will be done next year in the spring If you need any other questions answered please feel free to contact me, XXX-XXX-XXXX I can send you the contract if neededThank you : [redacted] /Bran Roofing Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 11, 2016/09/19) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) If we had communication problem I do 100 percent apologize for that. I deal with over 100 people a month and they are all equal so I hope he doesn't think we put him on the back burner so to say. Bran roofing is incorrect. My phone records indicate that I returned their call the next week after my parents gave the deposit and attempted to cancel. Date of deposit is 7/19, my phone call is 7/27. I called on multiple occasions and requested that they email me since I am in China. I left my email address in the message. My mother did not tell them they were to do the roof.
Their estimate clearly says they might not be able to complete the roof this year. I found another roofer willing to do it sooner and for $1300 cheaper. I did not want to wait.
I do not wish for Bran roofing to do the roof. I do not trust them.
