This company has become very complacent in taking care of their small customers I am a homeowner who has used Overhead Doors since 1986 In 2015 I had a spring break on the garage door. I set up an appointment with a guy and it would take two weeks before they could get out. They didn't show up. I called. I wasn't even on the books. Made another apponiment with a lady and waited another two weeks and when they arrived they didn't have the part even though we had discussed what was wrong and the type of door. I had to wait another three days for them to come back out. Almost one year to the date the other spring broke (which we had been told they replaced both springs at the time of repair) Record states they only changed one. Some guy set up an apponitment on the June 18. I called that morning to see what time they would arrive. Guess what? I wasn't on the books for service but the lady said they could get to me in another two weeks. When I became upset she stated that they only comes to the Stamford area about once a month. She seemed to think this would make me happy. I told her I would find another company and I wouldn't be using them again even though I'm building another new home. Called another Abilene company and they came the next day. They had my door fixed in thirty minutes and the guys were very professional and no excuses of why they couldn't fix my door. I won't be burned by Overhead Doors of Abilene again. If you make an appointment with Overheard Doors make sure the ladies put you on the books because it appears the guys don't really know how to get you on the books.
