received a certified letter from 84 Lumbar stating they were putting a lien on my house because the contractor did not pay his bill for the materials used on my home. I have made numerous attempts to contact [redacted] the owner and he will not respond to my calls or emails. I even went to the business office and found no one there. This is highly frustrating that a company doesn't have to pay their bills and their customers are held accountable. Now I will have to pay his bill of in order to remove the lien from my home. Essentially paying for the materials twice.
If the business would simply pay the bill, it will remove the lien. This will satisfy my complaint. Although, this action should be made known to all so no other homeowner goes through this frustration.
