Review: I am a resident of [redacted]. Age 69, ex-Army, [redacted] with nearly 1000 on my email list..

I UPS'd my leather flight jacket (valued at and insured for $300) to [redacted] at [redacted] in Long Island City, where the package was signed for by "[redacted]" ([redacted]?) on * Aug at 12:28 p.m. ( I sent my jacket there as that company had manufactured it ,and I bought it back in mid 1990's) Previous phone call with [redacted] (he identified himself as such), I was told repairs would take one day. After a week, I contacted him again and was told it would ship Thurs or Fri ([redacted] or [redacted] Aug). (he'd been on vacation a few days)

As I had provided a pre-paid UPS return label, I looked for tracking information and found NONE. On Mon ** Aug, [redacted] told me it had shipped on the [redacted].

As of yesterday, ** Aug, UPS has still not scanned the return label, so I wrote to [redacted] again, asking that he look into the matter and advise me.

It is now 8 p.m. in NYC and I have not gotten a response. I do have proof that my emails have been opened/read...yesterday's being read at 4:16 p.m. NY time.

On ** Aug I again emailed [redacted], asking for proof of shipment, tracking information, to where item was shipped..........their shipping log info. Again, my email was read but was not responded to.

If my personal jacket was lost or ruined, I'd expect a new replacement ( which are manufactured and sold by [redacted]) plus reimbursement for shipping, insurance, squadron patches that were to be stitched on, and my check for $48 that I was told to include with the jacket. The total would be roughly $446 before sales tax.

[redacted] is also listed for business known as [redacted] address of [redacted] "a domestic business corporation, file number [redacted]"

If you need copies of the other emails between [redacted] and myself, I saved and printed the majority of them.

I sincerely hope you will look into to this , as I'm not able to come to NYC.

1Desired Settlement: I' d prefer my original jacket be returned...repaired as promised. as a secondary I would wish for full restitution as explained in the complaint.

Review: Dear Revdex.com

I have been trying to resolve this issue with the [redacted] for almost 3 months. Branded Leather used PayPal as a way

to pay for services. I saw on their site a B3 Bomber Jacket(which now they do not offer) with a hood, for 550 dollars. Very reasonable for a USA made jacket. I ordered this jacket on Nov. ** 2013. It was to be a Christmas present for my son. Two weeks go by, no jacket.

I called I get the run around. We lost the order, we do not have the hides, the weather, still do not have the hides. In January I asked for a refund. I filed a complaint with PayPal. PayPal said since it was not an [redacted] item, and it was over 45 days, they could not get my money guarantee, call the vendor, which is what I have been doing!! What else can I do? What is so hard about getting a refund? Here is proof I ordered and paid for a jacket that I never received. I cut and paste the transaction info that will paste to the complaint

Review: I called Branded Leather and spoke to [redacted] on Oct *, 2014 and told him I wanted to come in and buy the 3/4 length leather pea coat he manufactures for the [redacted] he said to just come in. I went the the store in [redacted] from my home in [redacted], a one and half hour car ride. He was so flattered and appreciative I would make that trip for his product that he promised to have made in two days and I can come back and pick up or he can mail, I chose to pick up due to my excitement. I showed him the coat I wanted by his samples, I was EMPHATIC about having the smooth leather as opposed to the bumpy kind and he said "no problem". I gave him a one hundred dollar deposit and he said to come back in three days. I also gave him a set of black pea coat buttons to put on for me because I didnt want the standard brass. again he said "no problem". I went three days later and it wasn't ready but being worked on. he swore it would be done so I waited approximately FIVE hours because he said his tailor was having a problem putting on the buttons I gave him. After many hours of waiting he finally brought up a coat. I immediately noticed it was bumpy leather and I told him it was all wrong. He apologized and told me to take the coat home and wear it so I have something to wear while he makes the right one and would OVERNIGHT it the following [redacted]- in four days- THAT WAS OVER SEVEN WEEKS AGO at this point!!!! He seemed so sincere and apologetic so stupidly I paid the remainder of my bill, $500 and trusted the right jacket would be on my back in less than a week, I was very wrong. I tipped the tailor an extra $40. and they both said the jacket will last a "LIFETIME". I drove home with the jacket on the seat next to me since I was too exhausted from waiting all day to even try it on and inspect. When I arrived home I put on the coat and buttoned it up and then removed. the stitching from EVERY button came un-done and the buttons started falling off after this ONE time. I then inspected the snap-in liner and one of the snaps just fell off the coat. This is when I became extremely aggravated and felt like I'd been "taken". I immediately called the store number and [redacted] picked up. I told him about all these problems including stitching already becoming loose as I handled the coat. again he apologized up and down, he swore I'd have the new coat in a few days and it will be better. I calmed down and asked him to modify the coat a bit since he's making another one. these requests included- NOT stitching on the gunbelt loops since I was going to wear as a personal coat, not for Police service (i asked about this in the initial phone call but he said he only puts them on by request when the customer is in the store, that is another problem, I have gunbelt loops and I don't walk around wearing a gunbelt in my life)...I asked if he can put on silver buttons and he said "okay", I asked for hand pockets since I didn't realize the coat doesn't come with them as they are normally for Police service. He answered "yes" to all my requests and even pretended to be writing them down as I spoke. I assured him I would pay any additional charges and he said it was fine. Anyway, I've called EVERY WEEK for seven weeks and there's always another reason why he didn't send me my coat. I've basically given up now and e mailed a complaint as well to his website which has of course gone unanswered. I called him a thief and a liar. I realize he is completely unphased by this, he has lied to me every week for two months now. I told him I've wanted this coat for about 25 years, since I was 15, and how it has taken me the last several years to even find out where the [redacted] has their coats made because I love them so much. I'm sorry I was so complimentary to him since he has taken my $600 , gave me a substandard coat that is falling apart and is apparently never making nor sending me the one I paid for. All I want is the coat I paid for and apparently will never see it. I keep resisting the urge to go to the store because I Know I will not receive satisfaction nor do I want to get into a confrontation. [redacted] from Branded Leather is a thief and a liar !!!!Desired Settlement: I just want the coat that I paid for.
