***, Ms [redacted] did demand her money back and wanted to back out of the entire deal but she totaled out the new vehicle she bought usWe spoke with the lender several times to create a plan that would cost Ms [redacted] the least amount of money out of her pocket with this unfortunate accident We tried numerous times to explain to Ms [redacted] the process of an indirect lender and funding , with little success In my opinion, her lost work is due to the accident, not from us financing a vehicle for herI understand her frustration, this is a “big deal” to us and that is why we took every step possible to lessen the expense out of her pocket AND gave her the old vehicle back along with her down payment so she can get to workShe would have financing options available at this time, but she chooses not to do business with us, which I completely understand, and do not disagree with! I am rejecting this response because:The owner all but admitted my complaint, how could they give me a copy of my title without the original ?

Response received via e-mail from Gary ***, owner: "I am responding to the above mentioned complaint from our customer, *** ***. On March 12, 2015, we sold a Honda to Mr***. We handled his title transfer, and paid the state of Minnesota the applicable
fees. Mr*** states that he has never received the title, and that he was moving to the state of Missouri He contacted our title clerk, Julie, and said that we had received the title. She tried to assure him that we didn’t receive the title, and that the state of Minnesota won’t forward to the dealer. Mr*** is convinced that we physically have the title, and we have never received the title. We gave him a copy of his title work when we transferred the title. This would help him get a duplicate copy of the Minnesota title. We have even offered to help him get a duplicate title, but he was uncooperative thinking that we had the title in our possession. The Minnesota DMV shows that we had titled the vehicle in a timely fashion to him, and that the title was sent to his Minnesota address. Mr*** would like us to release his title, but we simply do not have it. He will need to get a duplicate Minnesota title, and use that to transfer to a Missouri title. We believe we have handled this situation fairly and professionally. If you have any additional questions, please let me know. Sincerely, Gary ***, ownerBrandl Motors"

I am rejecting this response because:
I am still in the process of settling the complaint. When I left Brandl Motors with my vehicle I assumed the financing had been completed. I found out days later after I had hit a deer and totaled out my vehicle that my financing had not gone through. I found out through the finance manager that between the gap insurance and the extended contract I had purchased, Brandl went over the amount I was approved from by the financing company. When I called Brandl I was given the run around and eventually found out the reason why my financing was not completed. Had I known that the purchase price with tax was $over I would have paid it but I was never given the option. when my insurance company came back with the price they would pay out for the vehicle, Brandl Motors would not accept it. They instead attempted to bully me (the manager of the dealership) and state that I signed a legally binding contract to purchase the vehicle. Yes I signed the legally binding contract under the assumption that the vehicle was being financed. I contacted I contract law attorney and was informed of my rights. I called Brandl back and demanded my money and old vehicle back wanting to walk away from the deal. I am still dealing with this over a month later. I cannot get a new car right now because Brandl Motors did not complete the financing until almost three weeks after my vehicle was totaled. Yes they gave me my car back but I would have never driven the car off of the lot had I known I did not have my financing completed yet. I am still responsible for the car payment until the insurance claim is done. I have lossed a lot of money due to lost work dealing with Brandl Motors, insurance companies etc that I would not have to have done had I known the financing was not completed. Brandl Motors acts like this is no big deal. They are not the one on the hook for a $vehicle that is already totaled but I just recently got financing for. Brandl stated that Allied Financial (the bank that financed the vehicle) knew the vehicle was totaled and still agreed to finance it. I found out yesterday on 12/that they had no idea that the vehicle was totaled.... This is a nightmare!

[redacted], Ms [redacted] did demand her money back and wanted to back out of the entire deal… but she totaled out the new vehicle she bought us. We spoke with the lender several times to create a plan that would cost Ms [redacted] the least amount of money out of her pocket with this unfortunate accident.
We tried numerous times to explain to Ms [redacted] the process of an indirect lender and funding , with little success.
In my opinion, her lost work is due to the accident, not from us financing a vehicle for her. I understand her frustration, this is a “big deal” to us and that is why we took every step possible to lessen the expense out of her pocket AND gave her the old vehicle back along with her down payment so she can get to work. She would have financing options available at this time, but she chooses not to do business with us, which I completely understand, and do not disagree with! I wish her the best.

[redacted], As you know we are an indirect lender for the bank.  [redacted] purchased a vehicle and financed it with us.  During the underwriting process [redacted] totaled out the vehicle.   Then she wanted her old van back Plus her original down payment, we agreed.  I am not sure what...

more I can do at this point, as you know, being an indirect lender for the bank, the underwriting process can take time.  In this case unfortunately an accident muddied the water a little.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2015/09/09) */
Business response received via e-mail to Revdex.com, 9-8-15:
"Good afternoon [redacted],
I am responding to the case number listed above.
Brandl Motors did have contact with [redacted] on 8-15-2015. We work with a third party source that...

sends out direct mail to customers in a certain area, based on certain criteria. Our in house representative Angie did call [redacted] to collect information to see if we could secure financing for him. The pre-approval letter was sent does state that there can be situations where approval is not valid. It is also based on the vehicle, trade, payoff on trade, and other issues.
Angie was still working to secure financing and Mr. [redacted] came in to look at a vehicle. The misunderstanding occurred because the third party direct mail company called him and sent him in, so we did not know he was coming, and we were unable to secure financing based on what Mr [redacted] owed on his trade in.
Angie apologized for the inability to secure financing and that they drove 35 miles to get here. Angie has been at the dealership for 14 years, and this is the first complaint made about how she treated a customer. She has a proven history of taking care of customers, and most importantly doing with respect whether a loan is approved or declined.
Mr [redacted] had called and spoke to co owner Joe [redacted] shortly after he left the dealership. Joe had again apologized for how Mr. [redacted] felt he was treated. He also explained our side of the story.
I apologize for the way Mr. [redacted] felt he was treated. It was a lack of communication between our staff and the third party direct mail company. We should not have let that happen, and again, I apologize. We certainly didn't lie to Mr. [redacted], or try to prey on him in any way. We have a long list of satisfied customers who we help each and every day. We tried to help this customer, but were unable to help in this case.
Please let me know if there is anything else we can do. I appreciate the work of the Revdex.com.
Sincerely,
Gary [redacted], owner
Brandl Motors"
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2015/09/09) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
first off we were never discussed any trade amount or any dollar amount owed on it. so this an out rite lie. They need to contact the credit breus and have all the credit inquiries they caused removed from our credit records. When I talked to mr. [redacted] and said I was going to write the Revdex.com he said go ahead he would deal with it then so it nice to see they still don't care and iam the one that is left hanging. they need to stop saying they can finance anyone because it is a lie they cailm to have guaranteed credit approval or give me what the guarantee is

Response received via e-mail to Revdex.com: "I am responding to the above complaint from our customer, [redacted]. On  December 12, 2015, we sold a 2005 GMC Yukon with 249,577 miles to [redacted].  We have had numerous conversations with the customer.  We have gone above...

and beyond on this deal, including paying for repairs after the sale on an “AS IS” vehicle. The customer is convinced there is a problem with the engine.  He originally wanted us to pay for it, and then wanted us to do the replacement of the engine, and that he would make payments to us.  I told him that I would not allow him to make payments, and now he is wanting for us to pay for a replacement engine for him.  Like I have said earlier, we have had numerous conversations, and he knows where we stand.  He is still driving the vehicle, and if he wants us to quote the repairs needed, we will be glad to do so.  It will be at his expense to repair what is needed, and we will not take payments over a long period of time to repay what is owed.  I will not be, or my staff be threatened by him because he does not like the answers that we are giving him. We believe we have handled this concern fairly and professionally.  If you have any additional questions or concerns, please let me know.  Sincerely, Gary [redacted], ownerBrandl Motors"

I am rejecting this response because:the vehicle was sold to us in this condition brandl motors sells nothing but junk .we have recently surrendered the vehicle to credit acceptance because Of its very poor mechanical condition and any balance we owe we will be suing brandl for along with $1218.00 worth of repairs in addition to that  and the $1300.00 We placed as a down payment on the vehicle.  I ALSO HAVE TWO FAMILY MEMBERS THAT HAVE BEEN LONG TIME CUSTOMER OF BRANDL THAT WILL NO LONGER BE CONDUCTING BUSINESS WITH. BRANDL BECAUSE OF THE "BAD BUSINESS". UNLESS A PERSON HAS A.POCKET FULL OF CASH BRANDL TREATS YOU LIKE YOUR WORTHLESS BUT ITS THEM THAT IS WORTHLESS. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH BRANDL BECAUSE OF THERE "SHADY BUSINESS DEALINGS"
