The complaint letter that I read is totally false. We did not tell anyone that we replaced the suspension but a lift kit was added. It was the #1 rated lift kit for the vehicle and there are several of them on Toyota Tacomas locally. I have the receipts for the kit that was put on.  My mechanic...

did not " advise me strongly against " adding it much less tell Ms. [redacted] that. He will be glad to sign a sworn notarized affidavit to that effect. In other words, that whole statement is untrue. None of the damage to the truck ( a CV Axle) was caused by the lift kit. When the incident happened it was not brought straight to me, as stated in the letter, but to [redacted] where it sat for almost a week. I did not even know there was an issue with the vehicle until presented with a bill. I offered to have the truck fixed for FREE. He said no, that he would rather pay [redacted]'s to fix it. That was their choice. During none of this time did they ever bring up an issue with the lift kit. The first time I found that out was reading the letter. When I told him no on paying [redacted] instead of having our mechanic do it, he flew off the handle and said that he would get an attorney. At no time did I " loss my temper, become irate or order him out of the building". Notice I keep saying "He". that is because even though this letter says it is from Ms. [redacted] and keeps saying "we and us", Ms. [redacted] was not even at the dealership and could not have been asked to leave. I believe that this letter was written by Ms. [redacted]'s boyfriends ex wife. She has came to the store, called, emailed and put information on the internet and facebook similar to what is said in the letter. In regards to the desired settlement: I will Refund the down payment and take the truck back. There may be some small fee for any expenses and of course I will have to deduct an amount for any miles that have been put on it since it was purchased but this should be minimal since the letter says that it has not been driven since it was purchased. Or, even though it was not our fault or the lift kits, I will repair the issue that I saw wrong with the vehicle and remove the lift kit. If they choose either of these options then it needs to be done immediately.

In regards to the desired settlement: I will Refund the down payment and take the truck back.
