I purchased the 6 month smile (porcelain braces) from [redacted]. I paid in full the day I got them. The day I got my braces on, two of my back brackets fell of, I immediatly notified his office, they told me I didn't need those brackets, they were just anchors and did not serve a purpose.(More on this issue later) I notified them during my consultaion, that I would be moving within a few months (my husband is military) and saked if I paid in full, if I could be transferred. They assured me it would not be an issue. Not quite 2 months after I got my braces, I moved to northern OKlahoma, and [redacted] would not transfer me, nor give me a refund. I continued to drive 9 hours once a month, in which I had to make a two day trip, and had to take off work to do, to continue my care with [redacted]. In November I had to have them taken off, I could not continue to drive down there for care, my teeth on the right side (the side the brackets fell off of) had not moved at all, and are still extremely crooked, but again, I had no choice but to take them off. I could not afford to go to another orthodontist, and I could not afford to continue driving to Texas. The day I got my braces off, the did impressions of my teeth or a permanent retainer, it has been two months and I still have no recived my retainer. I have called, emailed, hand wrote a letter, and have not gotten a single response as to where my retainer is. Now after not wearing a retainer for two months after having my braces off, my teeth have shifted right back to where they were prior to getting the braces. I used my husbands re-enlistment bonus to purchase my braces, and now you can't even tell I ever had them. All I want is the care I was promised. I was also told my teeth would be filed to make them look square and my gum line would be lasered to look straight. That was never done. I feel I did my part by paying for the care, and by showing up on time for all my appts. Please, help me get what I paid for.
