Signed a contract with Ralph & Tina Keyworth to paint our house in ***, NJ
2/3rd of payment was given to Ralph via check
Project was started, delayed, started and delayed again then Ralph quit/abandoned the project via a text message, after causing thousands of dollars worth of damage to the house
Taking all our paint and his equipment out of the house when we were not there
we have attempted to contact them with out any response
Police are investigating
The owner of Keyworth Painting provided an estimate of $to paint my houseHe committed to start painting the house on 7/6/He showed up on the 7/took the check for $and stated he had to purchase paintHe didn't return until 7/He dropped off two workers who proceeded to scrape paint with no drops cloths or anything on the ground for a few minutesThey were advised to stop after few minutesI advised the owner not to paint my house and requested a refund of the money I provided to ownerThe owner promised a receipt for the paint showing the cost and a check of $I've contact the owner a few times in regards to the refund, each time the owner texts the check is in the mailThe last text received was stating the check was sent to wrong address and it was sent againI haven't received anything in the mail from the company
