Review: Our 2005 Dodge Ram Diesel truck had numerous mechanical problems prior to going to [redacted] involving fuel and injection issues. The truck was not safe to drive and we informed [redacted] to perform a full diagnostic test and make any necessary repairs. It was then communicated to us that the fuel injectors and fuel injection pump had gone bad, something that had already been fixed only 2 months prior. My husband contacted [redacted], our previous mechanic, who then supplied us with new injectors as it was covered under their warranty and that [redacted] would have to do the work. My husband had to pick up the injectors from [redacted] and deliver them himself to [redacted] in [redacted] County (near [redacted] County). The fuel injectors were replaced. They were aware that the previous injector were contaminated and a new injection pump was also replaced in addition to filters, arm intake, and arm exhaust. [redacted] had the truck for a 1 1/2 months and when my husband drove the truck after leaving [redacted], nearly 30 miles later, his check engine and coil light turned on, on the dashboard, meaning a high return of fuel. My husband, having to return home nearly 3 hours away, continued his trip and experienced acceleration problems once again. He did make it home and the following morning, attempted to start the truck, but to no avail. Upon contacting [redacted] at that time, they immediately blamed it on the possibility of a loose wire, which my husband was able to quickly determine to NOT be the issue as the wire was still secure. [redacted] has are refusing to acknowledge their responsibility to rectify the situation and even though we had just payed nearly $4000. It is important to also note that the incident involving the [redacted] involved my husband being on the highway, the truck accelerating suddenly to a high speed and him having to put it in neutral to avoid a car accident. This had happened previously and [redacted] was aware of the seriousness of the situation.Desired Settlement: No charge diagnostic testing, tow to shop, repairs at no cost if the repairs involve recently replaced parts-particularly the injectors- and previously performed labor and repairs and a WORKING, SAFE Truck...
