[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This company is selling used engines for a lot of money ($3000.00) without checking the engines prior to installingA day warranty or less is unacceptable for the amount of money paid for the used enginesThe engine Brandywine installed only lasted monthsThe vehicle was only driven a total of 3k milesAs a consumer spending $on a used engine that has not be inspected to make sure the engine was in good running condition prior to selling For them to offer a $discount for another engine that could fail again is not a resolutionThis is bad business practiceIn the future I will warn others via social media not to buy any major car parts (engines, transmissions, etc) from them due to they do not guarantee these used partsThey just want to rip the everyday hard working consumers offI'm 100% sure they ripped other off in the same way Regards, [redacted] ***

I cancelled my order after being told that Brandywine auto would have to order another wheel that would not be in until Monday at the earliest As I stated in my complaint, the original wheel that was delivered was the wrong size, after waiting a week for it to arrive I had been riding around for days on a donut spare tires and I was not comfortable that it would be safe to ride around on a donut tire for at least more days or longer especially since there was a warning that heavy rains and wind was expected Sunday or Monday I was going to buy a new wheel for $to be put on Friday, however, that did not pan out because a [redacted] dealer initially informed that they had a wheel and then they informed me on Friday that it was no longer available I had to purchase a used wheel did not match the other wheels already on the car Basically, I did not believe that a replacement wheel would be in on Monday even though they stated that it would so I went somewhere else I have received all but of the purchase price of the wheel I'm not sure why they did not issue a full refund

Please classify as the customer is satisfied with business responseI spoke to the manager, but never saw a follow up from Revdex.com until I received this email stating the case was closedNot sure why I didn't receive the email with the company's responseI would've responded to that correspondence. Sorry that the customer feels that our prices are too highWith that said, prices on used items are 50% - 70% cheaper than new dealer pricesThis company has been in business for over years and many of our returning customers are very happy with our reduced pricesFurthermore, if the consumer did not care for the price and warranty coverage quoted to her then she should have considered another alternativeThere is nothing stating that you have to buy from usAs it is stated on our invoices; used parts are sold as is and warranty covers replacement onlyThat is the nature of buying the cheaper used part

and spoke to her about the vehicle she said she had experienced a leak from under the vehicle after the install .I told her to bring it back and I would take a look at it free of charge to see where the leak is coming from in which she had another shop take a look at the vehicle and they said that the transmission lines and/or fittings were leaking which is not part of having the transmission installed by brandywine in which she understood and said she would get back with me and I haven’t heard from her since. [redacted]  purchased a used engine to be installed back in may 2016 with a 6 month parts and labor warranty in which the customer signed our labor agreement and invoices and was aware of the warranty as stated on the back of the receipt in which it  makes the warranty over in November...

2016.In July 2016 the customer brought the back  for a oil leak in  which it needed a oil pan gasket  and was informed of the cost of the repairs at a discounted price and ok'd us to do the work .In January 2017 the customer brings the vehicle for concern's of the engine oil light and the vehicle was looked at and diagnosed and deemed the engine had failed .The customer was quoted a discounted price to install another engine in which she declined and had the vehicle towed out . The warranty has been over by at least 60 days or more at  this point Brandywine companies will not reimburse the customer but will consider altering the price quoted to install another product .

on January 20th 2017 ,Bridget Harris was refunded $222.60.  The freight cost of $18.40 was not refunded due to company policy which states that freight charges are not refundable. The customer was made aware of this when she requested to cancel the order. Furthermore, Brandywine is not responsible for consequential damages due to your vehicle requiring parts and / or repairs.

I am rejecting this response because: This company is selling used engines for a lot of money ($3000.00) without checking the engines prior to installing. A 60 day warranty or less is unacceptable for the amount of money paid for the used engines. The engine Brandywine installed only lasted 8 months. The vehicle was only driven a total of 3k miles. As a consumer spending $3000.00 on a used engine that has not be inspected to make sure the engine was in good running condition prior to selling.  For them to offer a $800.00 discount for another engine that could fail again is not a resolution. This is bad business practice. In the future I will warn others via social media not to buy any major car parts (engines, transmissions, etc) from them due to they do not guarantee these used parts. They just want to rip the everyday hard working consumers off. I'm 100% sure they ripped other off in the same way.
