I have had Brandywine Sealcoat update my driveway for or more years at this pointI have never been disappointed by the quality of the work or the price
They are the only people I call on an annual basis to do that work

Never speak to a person only answering machine do not return calls. Asked them to hold off on coating due to forecast of heavy storms. They did job in the morning and storms washed out several spots. They took check but have not called back

Review: I contacted Brandywine Sealcoat Inc. to do my driveway. These guys were so rude, and [redacted] hung up on me when I called them.

After they did my driveway, there were cracks all over the place. It looked like they didn't use enough seal. I told them this was unacceptable, but they would not do anything about it. They said their guys did a good job. The woman on the phone was rude. She told me I didn't "understand." She refused to schedule a day to check out the cracks. Then she had her boss come on the phone. We talked for a little while, but he hung up on me after yelling at me. They accepted a cash payment from me.

These people give terrible service from the office staff all the way to the people doing the sealing and the guy in charge himself. This is no way to run a business in 2014.Desired Settlement: All I need are the cracks repaired and an apology for the rudeness I encountered.

Review: They put a sealer on my driveway that was awful - - it immediately chipped and turned my black macadam driveway white. They came back and put an additional seal on which looked okay initially but then continued to chip and crack.

I have called them repeatedly for resolution but they refuse to call me back.

I either want them to correct the situation or to refund my money.Desired Settlement: To correct the situation or refund my money.

Review: The sealcoat was applied to the driveway in Fall of 2014. By February-March of 2015, the sealcoat had completely deteriorated. The sealcoat was applied during cold/wet time in Fall of 2104 and our belief is that it deteriorated due to the inclement weather and cold/wet surface. We have contacted Brandywine Sealcoat by phone at least 5-6 times. They kept promising to inspect the driveway. They never got back to us. Today, I called them and they stated that the driveway had scrape marks and that the sealcoat deteriorated due to plowing. She said this voided the warranty. I asked her if this was the case, why didn't she provide an explanation without us having to repeatedly call them. She didn't have an answer to this. We never saw anyone come to the house to inspect the driveway. There was no infromation forthcoming from them without us repeatedly calling to find out their findings. I don't believe they ever inspected the driveway and she came up with an answer that she knew would void the warranty.Desired Settlement: We would like for Brandywine Sealcoat to re-seal the driveway at no further expense to us.

Review: We engaged Brandywine Sealcoat to sealcoat our driveway for $195. They promptly responded and did the service. They informed us to stay off of the driveway for 24 hours. We stayed off the driveway for 60 hours. Upon returning our cars to the driveway, not only are there tire tread marks, but the driveway becomes stained with just water dripping and morning dew. We have attempted to contact Brandywine Sealcoat on 5 separate occassions, without a response or return call. We want the opportunity to come to terms regarding the quality of service that was performed and discuss options on rectification. Our driveway looks worse than before we had the sealcoat done.Desired Settlement: We wish to either have a partial refund of the original price paid or a reperformance of the service.

Review: BSC applied a driveway coating last year. It's now worn through in several places. Calls to BSC have been unanswered after initially speaking to Brandy.

Review: Similar to other complaints for this business. Driveway was sealed, and tire marks and stains showed up after 4 days, despite the contractor saying we could drive on it after 48 hours. Got through on phone once and was told they would come out and check. They never did. Now I can't get through on the phone - not sure if they are screening calls. I will not use them again and will recommend others to stay away.Desired Settlement: Recoat the driveway with product/technique that does not fail in the same way.
