Last May 2013, I brought my car in to Brannan's because I was having problems with the check engine lights. They told me they had to order parts which took two days. The problem with my car was sensors had to be replaced. They replaced two sensors in my car at a price of $760 in my 2008 Toyota Highlander. The problem is , a year later my check engine light is on again. I took my car back to Brannan's Wednesday,July 9th, 2014 and the attendant told me he worked on my car. He preceded to pull around to garage and came back to tell me after putting it on machine and telling me he did not know what was wrong with it. He stated " I can not see those sensors going bad this quick. I took my car to a mechanic in [redacted] by the name of [redacted] He replaced the sensors and told that Brannon's put the sensors on the wrong way. The sensors in question could not have been installed wrong. They screw in just like a light bulb or spark plug. The light stayed off for over a year so I`m positive they were installed correctly otherwise the check engine light would have immediately came back on. I really can`t monitor what my customers do or don`t do with there vehicle for over a year after I`ve performed a service for them.What kind of sensors [redacted] installed if any I don`t know.I don`t feel Brannans owes [redacted] any refund. I provided a service for her, she was aware of the price, she made the decision to procede and it fixed her vehicle for over a year. Thanks [redacted]
