I received a large amount of services from this company last year. Every time, I paid, upon leaving, the estimated cost after insurance. On my last visit I had work left to be done and while leaving the woman behind the desk advised they would have time to complete more of the work if I wanted. I advised her I had been told that my insurances were maxed out on their co-pays and that I planned on doing the rest of the work the following year once they reset. The woman advised me that they were not. She showed me an estimate stating I owed around a hundred dollars. I told her that if she was certain that was what was due that I would go ahead and have it done. I did and paid the estimated amount. I have two dental insurances so expected to receive a small bill for the difference of what was estimated and what was charged. Since I had nearly $10000 worth of work done I expected up to ten percent of that. In December I received a bill stating that I owed nearly $3000. I attempted to contact them reference this and finally on the third try I was able to get ahold of someone who advised that the last work and cleaning was not covered. Upon discussion she advised that it would be best if I came in so we could discuss it in person and she could show it to me. I did so the next week and she acknowledged that I was seen twice that day and that it was odd. She advised me that it was my responsibility to know my coverage and that the woman who advised me was probably not qualified to do so. I advised her that I confirmed multiple times and that if she was not qualified I did not understand why she was behind the billing counter. I met with the office manager the next week who agreed to write off the amount the insurance would of paid had it not been maxed out. I asked what that was, she said she would let me know if I waited, then advised it would be a while and she would email me. I never recieved that then recieved a bill for $2300 (over half). I attempted contact with ***, no response.
