We have visited Spring House Inn numerous times over the years, but we will never schedule future visitsWe are very disappointed with the staff and lack of management and customer service We had an issue with our hot tub so, we tried to get another room, none available with a hot tub- which is why we reserved this roomI wasn't even guaranteed some type of discount if we still had stayedI asked numerous times for some real assistance- none one with authority could help us Needless to say, we left I felt like I was speaking with a yr old with an attitudeThis was a inconvenience that could've been dealt with properly, if only there were responsible owners and staff available to assist their guests
We stopped here on our way to Michigan and this was the nastiest hotel we have ever stayed in We found a hair pin, lid behind the chair and part of a wrapper on the floorThere was a candy bar and half eaten bowl of ice cream in the fridge The coffee pot was nasty and still had a used coffee filter in it The WiFi never worked and we were told that it needed to be reset, and then we were later told by management the Internet was down due to storms that happened or days earlier Miraculously, the front desk still had their InternetThe pool was colder then Lake Michigan! Breakfast was a joke! The selection was horrible and pretty much everything was gone The most disgusting was the pubic hair in our washcloth!! We called the front desk to complain and she told us to talk to the manager in the morning Supposedly, the manager emailed the owner and was supposed to get back to us later that day After not hearing from her for days, we called and we were told that we were offered another room and we didn't take it That was an outright lie! Who in their right mind would have stayed in that discusting room?? Management made us feel like we were trying to pull one off on them to get a discount on the room Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! We will never be back!!
