Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. Dimensions are inaccurate and immaterial. Does Brass Eagle only work on level surfaces and within certain dimensions? Do you think I agreed to replace cracked concrete with cracked concrete for $3400? I did not agree to such an absurdity. I did not agree to purchase a cracked concrete job. Who would do that? Unless repair would be guaranteed?Brass Eagle reneged on specs. Size of drain at bottom of driveway and rebar connection to garage floor after existing driveway was broken up and removed with concrete mixers waiting to pour. Was I supposed to say"Stop"? Old time home repair trick.ANOTHER crack has since developed on driveway near garage entrance. A similar crack developed on driveway apron poured the same day (a level surface) on city property. Brass Eagle refused to repair and City withheld payment and had another contractor repairThe repair has no cracking. Barely perceptible, not according to city engineer, who inspected with *** ***. I had already paid Brass Eagle unlike City so my equal complaint was dismissed. City was "bought out". I was told to go fly a kite. Next door neighbor selected another contractor for his driveway after he saw Brass Eagle unprofessional work at my home. He had had a similar crack situation several weeks later and contractor promptly broke it up and repaired at no cost to home ownerNo cracking after repair.
County specs...are test results on file? The job needs to be repaired

The Driveway that we replaced sits at the down hill side of a sloping cul-de-sac.20'wide x 30' long with an additional fall of 10' from garage to curb. The driveway had severe cracking and buckled indicating movement of the cul-de-saccompressing the driveway with no expansion joints at garage or...

curb and had been constructed 10 to 20 years ago, with no reinforcement.      I expressed to the owner at the outset that similar cracking my occur and by installing expansion joints and reinforcing steel the amount of cracking could be reduced. To which he agreed.     We installed the new driveway as per county specifications, 4000 lb. concrete,4" slump, 5" thick, #4 rebar on 2' centers, control joints on 12' centers, curing compound, tooled edges, broom finish and 1/2" expansion joint on each end.    The result is a barely perceptible hair line crack and with the rebar reinforcement is not likely to become detrimental to the visual or functionaluse of the driveway.                                   ...
