I wanted to use my education benefits to obtain my Commercial Drivers License
Alamo Community Colleges offer a CDL course, but it is not VA-approved and I cannot use my education benefits
I emailed the Alamo Community College District Chancellor, DrBruce H***, at b@alamo.edu, to obtain assistance and an explanation
I NEVER RECEIVED A RESPONSE!
Is this the way the Alamo College District treats veterans?
I have been interested in Medical billing and Coding to supplement my career*** *** and *** ***, at *** *** college, were extremely helpful in getting me started in the processI did complete one course through the programThroughout the time I was enrolled, It started to concern me about how long it was taking me to get to class, so I decided to look for other optionsI did find another program at *** *** *** that is offered online and offers an internship.By this time, Ms.*** sent out an email regarding being registered for the round of courses and to books to buyWhen I asked for a refund from the payment plan that was made, I was told by Ms*** that wasn't possible due to district policy and that I was required to continue to keep paying on the courses, but did not have to show up to classI found this odd and quite unfair because had this information been verbalized or had they had me sign a document regarding this, more thought co
