Review: Braswell Galleries auctioned over 20 items that belonged to me on October 27, 2012. I have not received payment yet(April 9,2013)
On October 24 of 2012 I consigned 20 antique [redacted] bears, a collection of decanters, brass bells and a china coffee set.Items were auctioned October 27,2012. As described in the contract, payment for sold items(hammer price less 30% commission), would be send to me 30 business days after the date of the sale. It is today April 9 of 2013 and I have called the gallery six times, have send two emails and I even drove to the store, but it is close. They have not disclosed how much money they owe me, although I have asked many times. I am tired of lies and would like to get paid as I should. Desired Settlement: I would like to get paid by Braswell Galleries as soon as possible.

On April 25th I got notification of a complaint posted by Mrs. [redacted]. In the complaint is stated that I had to respond no later then May 2nd. Today is April 30th. Why was this marked as closed?
Here is my side to the complaint: I met with Mr. and Mrs [redacted] on April 26th. I gave then payment in full, my check #171. They cashed it on 4-27th. We moved our offices and unfortunately lost a lot of staff members due to downsizing and this consignment fell thru the cracks. I apologized to the [redacted]'s and regret they were caught in the middle .
Review: Braswell took entire lot of antiques, mirrors, furniture, oil paintings, prints, lamps(approx. value $75,000.00+),they lied, stole, no return phone calls
Braswell ([redacted] took our entire inventory from our New York City Office. This lot includes, Antique Furniture, Office Furniture, Mirrors, Paintings, Prints, Lamps etc and told us they were putting them in to an "Estate Sale".They rented out a warehouse and put our items in a "Tag Sale" with extremely low prices. We questioned why they changed their marketing and their pricing and the adjusted the prices to slightly higher amounts. They sold a many items at this sale and have paid nothing. They took the remainder of the unsold furniture to Atlanta for an auction and I have received a small payment 2400.00 for those goods. They will not return phone calls and have been extremely "shady" as if they have done this to many other customers. They were smooth and sly with their tactics to lure me in. They are completely unethical! I have had to contact my lawyer in order to send them a letter in hopes of a response with payment. We have witnesses and pictures of all of the furniture they took from usDesired Settlement: I would like an inventory of all of my furniture that sold and what prices it sold at and my money for my goods that they sold and I would like all of my unsold furniture back in my procession.
