We, Bratton Solar received this contract by a third party,
*** *** of Central Valley Energy Solutions, who at the time was selling
jobs for Bratton Solar to installThe third party handled the negotiation and
execution of the contract for the improvements for a commission, which they are
1099'd forBratton Solar
was not involved in the negotiation or the sale of this solar systemWhen we received
the executed contract we went along through the install unaware the customer
was unhappy
This customers improvement was funded through YgreneYgrene
goes through its first process of qualifying the customer for the amount of
improvementsThe second is that they must approve the improvements, this
includes the type of property, type of improvement, the materials being used
and the dollar amount for the improvements being madeYgrene will not approve funding
for improvements that are over fair market value
Once Ygrene approves the customer and improvements, they
produce finance documents for the customer to review and signPrior to that
Ygrene reviews the terms with the customer and does a series of Identity
checks, to verify that it is in fact the customer signing the documentsOnce
this is done, we proceed with installationOnce that is complete we submit the
final permit to Ygrene and sign a completion certificateThen the customer
confirms the improvements are complete, Ygrene verifies the customers identity again
and sends an estimated closing statement, which is once again reviewed and the
customer signsWe were not under any impression that the customer was unhappy
Once that was completed it funded
Bratton Solar receives a set dollar amount per WATT for the
labor and materials on all the contracts for improvements that Central Valley
Energy Solutions producesIt is not based on the dollar amount of the sale
Central Valley Energy solutions receives the remainder of the contract price as
a commission and is 1099'd by us at the end of the year. I have attached the cost
sheet that shows the dollar amount that we received for the labor and material for
the improvements and *** ***’s commissionWe collected a much smaller
portion for the improvements, than what CVES, *** *** received as a
commission
We will continue to work with the customer to find a
resolution to solve this matter
